Aside from books, they also sell jewelry and purses and various other trinkets. The owner told me that they try to buy from less fortunate countries so they can help them build businesses, which I thought was pretty awesome. I can't remember the term he used for this.. but he also said that he sells some local things on consignment also. I will definitely be going back to this place :)

The self checkout is great though, because there is enough space and systems to get people completed quickly. It's pretty hit or miss how the staff will be. They treat you like a criminal at the door leaving: they check your receipt. Depending on how you look, they go above and beyond and will even go through your bags versus just checking the large items. If you can't use self checkout, make sure you don't take the checker's word on your amount of bags. Twice now, I was told I didn't have another bag and found several items were left at the store (and calling doesn't do any good to recover the paid-for items). They seem to always be stocking. Even before the COVID crap. Sometimes it is quite a pain to get down the aisles. Generally though, the stockers are super friendly and will help you navigate around them. This location is what it is. I don't expect much from Walmart anyway, but this location has the bar set even lower.

The aisles are a bit narrow. Thankfully this isn't a huge town, so even when the are busy there aren't many people in the store. Also, the grocery selection is pretty slim. They had ALL THE HERBS- I live in a huge city and wish our Walmart was like this. If I ever see basil, mint, or chives at my store it's like I've hit the lottery. We got great steaks, plenty of food for the week, dairy products, and nice fresh produce. Went back the next day for water balloons and water guns... so we kind of saw a little bit of everywhere.

The vegetarian selection isn't great, but this is middle of nowhere Oklahoma haha, so not surprising. The household item selection is pretty vast. I have no doubt you can find household items with ease here. Clothing as well. Parking is pretty good. There are always spots available and the parking lot is easy to navigate. The registers, namely the self-checkout is set up a little odd compared to other stores, but I'm happy it exists at this store. All in all, it's pretty much on par with the rest of the walmarts in the area: smaller selections in some things, virtually no cashiers, you know what I'm saying.

This is the worst looking Dollar General store that I have been too ever!! I wish I took pictures…read moreand if I go back I WILL! I went in for a sketch book, map pencils and some playing cards. I was able to find almost everything myself thankfully. First, the aisles were filled with rows and rows of carts with tons of boxes. We had to backtrack just to try and get around the store, there would have been no way with a shopping cart. Second, most of the aisles in the store are bare, especially the totally empty aisles in the back part of the store..so they're missing out on potential sales. Finally, this scary looking guy comes out real fast from the back of the store with long black hair and a long black robe on that was flowing back as he swiftly moved in front of us.. he looked emo, but I wasn't going to judge. I have a daughter that went through an emo stage. Though for a second there it felt like Halloween! I would have never guessed that he was an employee. My son must of known because he asked him where the playing cards were and without stopping the guy took us right to them then he disappeared. I wondered if he ever worked the day shift looking like that or if he's more like a vampire, working only at night and customers need to watch their necks. lol Really, he seemed nice enough but probably should dress more professional so he doesn't scare anyone. Then there's a man by the register that was real quiet that checked us out. Those are the only two we saw working and if the second guy can't leave the register then that's not going to help get that stock out or fill the shelves. Shame on the manager for letting the store get this bad!!
