Items are sort of laid out with planning but it's very random things and sort of pricey. They offer a little bit of everything from dishes to toys to Christmas etc. some things are missing packages but they achieve putting it all back together and make throngs look nice. The store itself is ginormous and it was a tad overwhelming when I first walked in. After I stopped being intimidated by the store size I was able to get some great deals on things like laundry detergent and motion sensor lights for outside our home. I am looking forward to continuing to take advantage of the fantastic prices at Ollie's. I can see myself getting rugs and some more $10 bed sheets. While it cod be argued that near by Martins is just as convenient and is better because it has more stuff, I have to disagree on the better part. There is a good variety of items and they are more often than not cheaper than other places. I would suggest coming here because of the staff, convenience and the prices.

I found a couple of Mission Oak footstools I would have loved to have bought, but they were in the $400-500 range - for a simple footstool. Granted, not easy to find and in good shape, but that was more than I was willing to pay. Shop is located in St. Joseph, which is traditionally a wealthy area (Whirlpool Corporation is here, so be sure to notice the who-needs-a-house-that-big mansions along the lakeshore if you drive by). St. Joseph is a tourist and summer home area for people with money. The furniture here is desirable, beautiful, and hard to find. Those factors create high prices that others can and will pay. As for we middle class types, we continue to rummage out of the way antiques shops in hopes of a lucky find.
