I've been driving to another location a few miles and minutes away due to having to wait in line to check out while 2-3 other employees are off laughing elsewhere in the store, most often in the office. DG is built on the premise of convenience but customer service does play a role in that when it comes to getting in and out quickly! The selection in this store has changed vastly in the last few months as well, there's more clothing now and I find that odd. DG has just about anything you need (like a mini-Walmart), personal care items, household cleaning products, pet food, groceries, as well as healthcare and home goods. There has always been a small amount of clothing including shoes but the clothing section is growing here. The store even has beer, wine and tobacco products, so you can see why there's draw for neighborhood folks! Most items are reasonably priced, others not so much but there is a $1 section, too! As you can see, DG has a little something for everybody, except this location where customer service is fading fast! I like you a lot DG, you're close by but I'm shopping here for convenience! I want to get in and out fast! Which leads me to another issue, getting back onto Taylorsville Highway/90 is quickly becoming an issue. We need a light here, too at times!

It's not like there's trash on the floor but the shelves are never organized, product is everywhere and it just looks like a messy teenager's room. Other than that, it's easy and very quick to get in and out of. They seem to carry a little bit of everything. In fact, that was my second trip there for the day. The staff is always very friendly. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars I would, however the mess led me to give it only four.
