The staff greeted me at the door, which caught me off guard in a good way--friendly without being pushy. Shelves were neatly stocked, aisles clear, and the vibe was upbeat, almost like a cross between a dollar store and a college dorm gift shop. It's a great little stop when you want something fun without spending much. You won't find everything under the sun here, but you'll probably leave with more than you planned on--especially if you're shopping with kids or just in the mood to browse.

This particular location is in the okolona portion of Louisville just off outer loop in the large shopping center next to the Jefferson mall. Location is always clean and well stocked. Pretty spacious and they have some cool things. They have majority of things that other dollar bargain places have except they have a pretty extensive toy and games selection. Which makes it really popular to my daughters. I'll get the "dad can we stop by five below" quite often when picking the kids up from a place such as school or practices. Overall really cool shop and as stated it's a cleaner, better stocked and more accurately named dollar store. Because we all know not everything really costs a dollar. So saying everything is 5 and below is much more accurate.

Might actually be the nicest one I've seen. I actually pass this location up quite a bit as it is in route between my house and my 2nd oldest daughters cheer gym. So I kept an eye out as they were building it and finally stopped in the other day. I was kinda surprised to see they actually had a nice sized grocery option including frozen and refrigerated goods. Which is kinda nice because where it is located there really isn't too many close options for a quick bread and milk grab for the locals. We usually have to stop in here because my daughters cheer leading gym is down the street and she either forgot some socks or a hair scrunchy and it's 655pm and her practice starts at 7pm.
