The selection I in baked good were great and they had a good amount of clothes and books. I wish they had a big selection of ramen. The value was good with great prices in the food court and main store. We also when to the food which the pizza was great and we had the most wonderful cook ever the couple church chocolate cookie. Shout out to Cosco pharmacy for being cutting edge and cheap. My wife got my initial medication for me without a prescription from my doctor. She said they could see it at my previous pharmacy and had it ready in no time. My visits since then have been outstanding. Great service, low cost, convenient, and miles ahead of the rest. Cosco is the bomb. This my place for life.

They overcharged me by $10 and when I asked for a refund Paul took 20 minutes to figure out a solution.

My Costco ID! The employee asked me to make a funny face and he was so pleased with the result that he gave me a free food-court pizza.

I'm confused as to a) why Costco has so few reviews, and b) why the rating is only about 3.5 stars. What's not to like about this place? It's well-run, it's clean, they have a huge selection of products, the prices are exceptional, parking is ample, the workers are competent and friendly, and the store is loaded with kiosks where free samples are dispensed. I actually look forward to my Costco visits. I typically refuel at their gas station as well, since it's at least 25 cents cheaper per gallon than any station within a two-mile radius. Originally, I resisted becoming a Costco member. I already buy things from Kroger and Trader Joe's - the last thing I really want is another weekly stop to complicate my grocery-buying process. But let me tell you - Costco is worth it. Of the three stores I shop at, Costco has slowly supplanted the other two as the most important. They also have great prices on tires, alcohol, and seasonal plants! Lastly, they have a very inexpensive food court where you can grab a hot dog or a slice or pizza (or numerous other things) on the go.

I love Costco, and while I typically prefer the Prospect location, Bardstown Road has been improving their stock! Lately I've found amazing plants, flowers, and new prepped food. We typically don't have massive hauls, and we've also been getting in and out super fast lately, with the store really having great staff at check out.

Whole pepperoni pizza for $9.99; fresh and hot

Grocery shopping, lowest prices in town and best of all, Food Court: can't beat their Pizza $9.99. I just found out Costco #3 Pizza seller in U.S. it's worth the wait when ordering in store and comes out hot. Just right amount of dough(not too thick not too thin), right amount of sauce too and huge amount of cheese, all up to the edges of crust so have very little dough that doesn't have sauce/cheese. Our favorite order is 1/2 cheese & 1/2 pepperoni . We love it piping hot that we sit down and start eating with soda/water and then take rest home for wife and other kid.

I don't want to be unfair with this review so I have to preface it by saying I was a huge Costco fan when I lived in California. The stores were large with a vast refrigerator room for produce. I was a regular and my children looked forward to our Costco runs because they knew it would end with the purchase of a Costco hotdog on the way out. When I heard Costco was finally establishing the chain in Kentucky I was delighted. Neither Costco is super close to me but I have checked them both out. My recent trip to this Costco was partially affected by Covid19 shortages. No toilet paper of any kind, no disinfectant wipes, only the store brand paper towels. All those items I have overlooked in my rating for this review. I find this Costco to be a mini Costco compared to my California store. The refrigerated produce room was disappointing. A lack of bakery items makes me choose Sam's Club over Costco. There were a variety of frozen meats that I purchased to stock my home freezer. So yes, the experience was ok but it sure didn't wow me. I will be back because part of our Buick purchase last year provided me with a $700. shopping card. At the rate I'm going it's going to take me several years to spend it.

Delicious! Buy these! 12 per box!

Three years ago I reviewed Costco and gave them 3 stars. Today, I'm upping that to 4 stars. Before I begin, I'll start with this... you shouldn't have to pay to shop somewhere. I still believe that. Secondly, I still don't think you should buy half of the stuff here in bulk. I don't need 42 servings of your chocolate covered coconut clusters that come in at 150 calories per serving. Granted... I love them but that's why America is fat. Medium to large-sized families should absolutely go here for their bulk meat, veggies, tp, and paper towels. After visiting Costco once or twice a week with my friends this year, I've found a few other things to like about Costco. That is what is prompting the update. That membership price is worth it for the gas, free air, and rotisserie chickens alone! Gas is always 25-40 cents cheaper. You can pull up to the automotive area and tell them you need air and they'll do it. Finally, those CHICKENS! 4.99 for an entire chicken! You have to be kidding me. What a steal of a deal and very easy dinner when paired with a veggie. While stores like Costco still freak me out(as I mentioned in my last review about the movie Idiocracy), I'm not sure which company will be the default company in the future. I'm inclined to think Amazon will win out over everyone in the end but we'll see. I've become an Aldi devotee so most of my grocery shopping will continue to happen there. As for Costco, that cheap gas and cheap chickens are reason enough to consider a membership or borrowing someone with a membership to pick yourself up a chicken. In short: -- Still a big box store that isn't local. -- Cheap gas. -- Free air! -- 4.99 ROTISSERIE CHICKENS! -- Always check what they have on-sale(My girlfriend almost exclusively buys what they have on-sale... she's quite frugal). -- Croissants - They're legit. -- Kiwis - Go with the golden yellow ones. They're much better than the green ones. -- It's worth it to check the bulk bathroom items (shampoo/toothpaste/etc). That stuff also tends to be a steal.

Food court sucks. Crowded, food not hot. Soft drinks are all flat if they work at all.

Ask the Community - Costco

From out of state, so this may be weird but does this Costco sell alcohol?

Yes. The liquor store is in a separate area & you will see it when you walk in.

Does anyone know if there is a florist who does made-to-order flower arrangements at this location? Thanks!

Has anyone bought a cake from their bakery? If so which kind and would you recommend it? Thanks!

I have and it is delicious! I have had them on other work occasions, but just a few weeks ago we ordered a white cake with chocolate mousse in the middle and chocolate buttercream icing (all picked by the Birthday boy).… Read more

As this place always has plenty of food options, and I need to buy a few meat products since the regular grocery stores seemed to be sold out. They have so many options here from spices, canned goods, meats, veggies and many many more. I've learned of this place thanks to my uncle whom has a business and constantly has people over or get together. Therefore, I come here every so often. Great store to shop for your business, restaurant or for your big family. 2017 This is a great place to stock up for large events and of course if you're a restaurant owner. The prices are great in comparison to the other big box stores. The customer service here is great, I always get the help I need and makes my time in here quickly spent. The food is great, never had any issues. I'd like for them to start carrying caviar again, as that's something I miss. Other than that, everything here is phenomenal.

This is definitely a step up from Gordon's but not in the league with creation gardens.

The selections at this Costco are 5star. They seem to always have the higher quality meats and fish selections. Costco remains the industry leader in value for warehouse memberships. Each pizza is huge, loaded with toppings, and baked just right with that golden, cheesy goodness on top. It's the kind of pizza that can feed a crowd without breaking the bank. What I love most is the convenience. After doing a big Costco run, grabbing a pizza on the way out is the easiest dinner solution. No prep, no dishes, no hassle--just open the box and let everyone dig in. It's always hot, fresh, and hits the spot whether you go with the classic cheese, pepperoni, or combo. It's also a lifesaver for families or anyone hosting. For $10, you get a massive pizza that actually tastes great--definitely not your average "cheap" pizza.
