I ordered them with pink frosting. When we got the cupcakes we were surprised by how jarring the pink was. Almost red in color. Unfortunately, the frosting had WAY too much food coloring in it. Everyone thought the frosting was disgusting. It tasted like chemicals and had a horrible aftertaste. It was pretty embarrassing and we had a lot leftover because people were tossing them after a bite or two. I spent $40 on these cupcakes (I purchased the Minnie toppers somewhere else), and everyone was talking about them being the worst cupcake they ever had. They could definitely have made the frosting a lighter pink. Some people even thought the frosting was red. It was just total overkill on food coloring. I would have been better off getting them literally anywhere else. Such a disappointment!!

So I'm leaving the store with a basket full of these items -- which sets off the alarm. I explain the situation. He is flexible. Already impressive. But then I have to explain it would be really hard for me to unload the items, then bring the basket back to the store, then return to the vehicle -- with an already sore hip and back. In the past, I have placed the baskets inside one of the carts in the cart corrals. The explanation apparently sufficed. He agreed. Thank you! Thank you a lot. Walmart is already a huge store I seldom negotiate due to the large, (for me painful), in-store distances involved. This young man made an executive decision that was human, thoughtful and kind. They have helpful and kind staff and even measuring tapes in strategic spots to help you out, so strap on that Michael Kors handbag and get ready to SPEND! Most of this isn't my personal style but I didn't leave without a few heavenly smelling candles and a sassy greeting card. Perfect place to find a nice gift for the lady in your life who needs a "wine o'clock" sign or a "chop it like it's hot" tea towel. NGL, was tempted by that last one.
