Goodwill Bins have been a bucket list item of ours! While in Rogers, AR we decided to check them…read moreout. You really have to be in the mood to look through EVERYTHING! We found some great items amongst a lot of not so great items. Clothing ran $1.59 per pound. You literally fill a shopping cart and put it on the scale. Now, you would need to keep non clothing items separate as they are different $/lb prices. We ended up with 76 items for $78!!! We spent about 2-3 hours. I would recommend this for entertainment, NOT the place to go if you are looking for one particular item or you don't have much time. We were hoping bins would be refilled as we were shopping but didn't see that happen. I'm not sure how often the restock.

I don't shop here very often as it is inconvenient for me, but I will come here for select items…read more I go here for the roasts. You can buy a 12-13 pound roast and then cut it up into smaller pieces. This works well for those who want to buy in bulk and makes for a great slow cooker pot roast. The other item I'll get is the full tenderloin. This is a big cash outlay, but makes for about 8 filet steaks once you process it. This then results in about a $5-6 filet. Grill that up with a few sides and a glass of wine and you have a first class meal for about $10. The store's business model is to charge you what it costs them plus $10%. I don't know if they actually sell at cost plus 10% but probably do. Just keep this in mind because when you get to the register, everything costs about 13-4% more, the 10% for the store and the rest is sales tax. When you walk in, you will get the feeling that this is a no frills store. It isn't some place where I really want to spend time browsing so I'm mostly in and out. The good deal on meat makes up for the lack of glamour.

Prior to my breast cancer/double mastectomy - my bra size was a 32DD. I'm a small framed woman. The owner insisted that there was no way that was my size & would not agree to fitting me for this size. She insisted I'd look better with a C cup. This isn't her decision! My breasts were amputated from my body & if I wanted DDD she should have offered them. When my custom fitted prosthetics arrived they still didn't fit right ... her answer "just stuff your bra with tissues like the rest of women". Seriously?!?! In appropriate- in considerate.
