Get rid of the air fresheners. I would have shopped longer but I feared damage to my health. This place is intolerable if you have ASTHMA, LUNG ISSUES, AUTO IMMUNE DISEASE, PREGNANT, any other breathing issues. The level of scent in the air is incredibly toxic and suffocating. This is going to be a long one and it's the abbreviated version. I would like to point out that this is only my third negative review I've ever written. Not much has made me feel that dissatisfied and dismissed. But, this time. I mean, people have their limits. Let's start at the beginning... This was my first and only purchase from At Home. I purchased a $100 gift card weeks ago, on or around November 20th. The only notification I received was an automated email confirming the order. It never arrived and I was never charged - until one morning earlier this week. A charge for $100 was added then canceled a moment later (weeks after the order was placed) according to my card company I still have received no gift card I have also received zero communication from anyone at the company. In fact, they have made it as difficult as possible to communicate with a human customer service representative. Zero interest in assisting customers. Better for us to get busy and give up so they make more money. Total customer care failure I opened a complaint ticket and I received yet another automated email notifying me that my complaint wasn't in the right dept. So I had to file ANOTHER complaint and got ANOTHER auto email saying it had been received. The only human contact I have had is when I finally got someone (after 4 attempts) to pick up the phone. She told me a gift card had shipped on the 11th of December! That's the first I was hearing about it. She did not address any of these issues I've discussed above and brought to her attention. She did not give me a delivery date. She offered no assistance with my dissatisfied feedback. Is this the closure of my ticket? The feedback vacuum AND the overall buying AND customer service experience has been genuinely appalling. I've never experienced anything like it Honestly, I've never had a company treat me so unimportantly or insignificantly before. Especially since I've gone out of my way to show this company patience and extend a little good faith while waiting for some sort of attempt to retain me as a customer. So much for that As things sit currently, I just received a one sentence email from a "Customer Service Specialist" that simply said, "We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience." No sign of a gift card yet, or even a charge, or shipment confirmation notification. We'll see how it goes at Christmas when it's time to give my sister her gift card since... I still have received no gift card Yes, seriously. This is all about a simple gift card Avoid this nightmare retail experience at all costs UPDATE: Was sent yet another automatic email response when I asked why I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM ANYONE. I'm conflicted about this store. There's a wide selection of rotating holiday decor, household goods, pictures, and decorations. Everything seems to be overpriced and not great quality. I've tried several times to get patio furniture on sale, but I guess everyone else runs in for the deals, because I miss out every time. Even on sale, prices are barely comparable to other local stores. The only place I have had luck was in the kitchen department. I decided last minute to buy a chair and went to At Home 15 minutes before they closed. They were nothing but kind, but they were all sold out of the chair that I wanted so they let me take the display. Despite being past close Laura herself helped me disassemble it so I could put it in my car. The weather was extremely cold and she had every right to tell me it was my problem, but she didn't. She was kind, understanding and so beyond helpful, I couldn't have done it without her. Her coworkers Shanna and Shyanne also went above and beyond to help me. Thank you, guys, so much again! Wow this store is super huge! I've not seen so much stuff in such a large store in a long time. If your looking for anything it's in this store. I've never seen so many different types of frames, pillows oh my the pillow isle is massive. I think some items are a little overpriced but there's also lots of sales. This is a huge warehouse of cheap home decor and furniture. Go in with low expectations and be prepared for a treasure hunt! I always find something like wall art, plastic storage bins, or textiles for half of what I'd pay at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The prices are good! Long checkout lines during busy days. read more

My wife and I purchased over $1000 of patio furnature and the following week it went on sale for $130 less. I contacted At Home customer support and was told they do not offer price adjustments. They did suggest that I could return the furniture and then repurchase at the reduced price. To me this is just a price adjustment done the wrong way. It would be difficult since the furniture required assembly and returning would be ridiculous. Update: 10/22. I visited the store and spoke with the manager, Vivian. She was most helpful and took care of the issue right then and there based on the receipt. She understood the policy but also knew it had to make sense. Great assortment of all things home. Took advantage of 75% off Christmas items. Store was overrun with holiday merchandise to the point that is was just a mess. Found an aisle with a large pile of mixed items--looked like a clearance area. We found someone to ask and found out the pile of goods was merchandise that was in transition. Today was my first experience shopping at "AT HOME". Wow this store is a like an IKEA, Home Goods & Hobby Lobby, rolled into one large store with a huge selection. The pricing is comparable to those stores to. At Home has the largest selection of mirrors, artwork, pillows, etc and outdoor patio furniture cushions I've seen in NWA. NOTE; You will not find top of the line quality or interior designer name things here, you'll need to go to Ethan Allen or other high end stores if that's what you're looking for. But you can find cute things at affordable prices at, "AT HOME". I saw the exact same end tables & pillows here that I did at Home Goods & Hobby Lobby. Nothing unique, seems all the stores basically caring the same kinda things. Like IKEA, you can walk around this store for over an hour looking at everything. I can see how it can be overwhelming for some & a shopping adventure land for others, lol. It's a store you really need to go see for yourself. INSIDE OF STORE; The store was brightly lit, clean and organized. SERVICE; I did not see anyone on the floor to question about things. The 1 cashier was really friendly & kind. I was not impressed with AT Home. When I walked in I liked how the store was set up but I felt like i was only a customer. The atmosphere of At Home was like i was in a WalMart. Employees would walk by and kind of acknowledge you and then keep on walking. I visited this store with the upmost excitement, looking to help furnish and decorate my new home. I have to say that this store is a sh*t show. Unless you are looking for rugs, textiles, soft goods, etc., it is more difficult than it should be to find something not damaged. The paintings - damaged. The furniture - damaged. The decor - damaged. You might be able to rummage through all of the items of the same on the shelf and find on in the back that isn't damaged, but doubtful. While there, I realized why. The employee who was putting return items back on the shelf took a painting out of the cart, drug it across the floor, and then threw it in the rack and then worked to get it straight a few times - but wasn't easy on it by any means. It's a huge store, and could be fun to shop, but if you are truly looking to buy here, you will be severely disappointed - that is unless damaged items in your house don't bother you. I won't be back. I'd rather pay the higher prices somewhere else than waste my time on a store in which I couldn't buy something if I wanted to. Good luck! read more

Love this store, but just got off the phone with a guy that didn't want to help me find what I was looking for. He just said, check the website, I don't know if we have any or not, rude and lazy. He needs to be in the back unloading trucks where he doesn't have to deal with the public. They need to hire only friendly people to be on the floor and answer the phone. read more

I visited the store today - wearing my mask and expecting to experience social distancing. 1. No signage at the entrance discussing social distancing. 2. Out of wipes for the shopping carts (I used my own.) 3. Lots of items in the aisles, which made social distance difficult. 4. At check-out, I expected cashiers to be wearing masks. Distance between cashiers and customer is probably 3 feet at the most. No masks. I asked cashier why. She stated 'they didn't think we needed them'. WRONG ANSWER. I will never go back. I don't get the mediocre reviews. I've found several good deals, especially with coupons that seem to be emailed to me daily. I found some great Christmas clearance last season and recently was on the hunt for some patio stuff. It takes quite awhile to get through the massive section of seasonal items. Need a specific color pillow or cushion? Crazy options. Love the lamps/shade variety and art work. There are not too many places in NWA to have the options At Home does on many things for the home or outdoors. Are some of the prices a bit much? Sure but many things aren't. As an older woman I have often wondered why so many shop online rather than going to an actual store. For the third time going to At Home and leaving frustrated I understand why. Yes they have a large selection of about everything. My problem is trying to find an associate for assistance. When I finally did was brushed off being told he was the only one and floor and I would have to wait. After following him to catch him when he wasn't occupied. He bolted. This is a very welcomed addition to the area. Its like Bed, Bath & Beyond, but the focus is a little broader to encompass the furniture. And they couldn't have picked a better time to open up. They have a huge Christmas selection to browse. I love the fact that they have a map, when you walk in, showing you the layout. The prices are quite reasonable. Was in store today around 1:00! Almost empty as usual! Spent about an hour! Had basket over flowing with merchandise! Got to check out area ( which is awkward at best) and there were 4 people in line waiting to check out! There was one checker who was having difficulty with a persons credit card! There was another store worker (who apparently had plenty of store knowledge) training a new person! Standing right there watching the line back up and not attempting in ANY WAY TO ASSIST to check out those if us waiting! I left an over flowing cart of merchandise and walked out! Great Christmas selection (in August), decent pricing (not bad, but not great), and even though it's hard to find an associate, due to the immense size of the store, when you do find one, they are always very helpful in assisting you find an item. Tonight, an associate by the name of Vivian helped me with a rug, and went out of her way to make sure I was happy. My BIGGEST and only complaint is they fact that the outside looks like they are going out of business, due to the knee high weeds in the landscaping. It looks almost abandoned from the outside.
