I also find really nice seasonal/holiday ramekins for my Souffles, Creme Brulee and Bouchons I make for holiday gifts, along with other hard to find kitchen utensils at great prices. Now the sad part of this review is the "Hit or Miss" quality customer service. Some of these employees don't care to be here, while others love their job and it shows. So if you have never been here, I encourage you to stop in and check it out.

These folks have outfitted two generations of my own family essentially. I have older kids who are reaching their 30s and I have younger kids who are just now about 10. Both sets of kids have enjoyed room pools of furniture and items that we have used through the years for practical purposes and fantastic, comfortable useful items they have made a difference in our lives. I always appreciate the value of their products. The pricing is pretty darn good, especially when you get it on the sale, and the folks are always friendly and helpful. I'm really grateful that we have one of these stores not too far from where I live.

Went to store on Thursday before Christmas. Selected a quilt with a Christmas theme. The employee…read morewent to storage area to get one of the quilt. When we got home, a two hour drive, we find she gave us the wrong quilt. Called the store. They wanted us to drive back and make the exchange. When we declined that suggestion, they said they would ship the correct one but only if we would pay for the second quilt as well. Asking for overnight shipping, the clerk said they would only if we would pay the extra delivery charges. We declined. Once the second quilt arrived, we had to call the store multiple times over the next week to get them to send the return label for the original quilt. When the label was received and the package was returned with confirmation by the UPS tracking number,we again called over multiple days asking for the credit to our credit card. They would not check on it and said we should call our bank to ask them. Eventually the credit was given. I called the Pottery Barn corporate office to register our complaint. While someone did take note of why we were calling, the return call that was promised has yet to be received 10 days later. Pottery Barn, if you are reading this please do not respond with a form letter apology. You sell nothing that anyone has to have. All your products are enjoyment items. Dealing with you should be likewise.

Not much has made me feel that dissatisfied and dismissed. But, this time. I mean, people have their limits. Let's start at the beginning... This was my first and only purchase from At Home. I purchased a $100 gift card weeks ago, on or around November 20th. The only notification I received was an automated email confirming the order. It never arrived and I was never charged - until one morning earlier this week. A charge for $100 was added then canceled a moment later (weeks after the order was placed) according to my card company I still have received no gift card I have also received zero communication from anyone at the company. In fact, they have made it as difficult as possible to communicate with a human customer service representative. Zero interest in assisting customers. Better for us to get busy and give up so they make more money. Total customer care failure I opened a complaint ticket and I received yet another automated email notifying me that my complaint wasn't in the right dept. So I had to file ANOTHER complaint and got ANOTHER auto email saying it had been received. The only human contact I have had is when I finally got someone (after 4 attempts) to pick up the phone. She told me a gift card had shipped on the 11th of December! That's the first I was hearing about it. She did not address any of these issues I've discussed above and brought to her attention. She did not give me a delivery date. She offered no assistance with my dissatisfied feedback. Is this the closure of my ticket? The feedback vacuum AND the overall buying AND customer service experience has been genuinely appalling. I've never experienced anything like it Honestly, I've never had a company treat me so unimportantly or insignificantly before. Especially since I've gone out of my way to show this company patience and extend a little good faith while waiting for some sort of attempt to retain me as a customer. So much for that As things sit currently, I just received a one sentence email from a "Customer Service Specialist" that simply said, "We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience." No sign of a gift card yet, or even a charge, or shipment confirmation notification. We'll see how it goes at Christmas when it's time to give my sister her gift card since... I still have received no gift card Yes, seriously. This is all about a simple gift card Avoid this nightmare retail experience at all costs UPDATE: Was sent yet another automatic email response when I asked why I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM ANYONE. Stopped in Kohls today to return a shirt and buy a different one. Went to Customer Service…read more The woman waiting on me , needs to learn to be a bit nicer when she speaks to someone. She needed my Kohls card. Told me if I used it she could give me 30% off. Otherwise it's 15% I kept looking in my wallet and not finding it. She was not happy at that point that I couldn't find it. Huffing, she said looks like 15% for this. I forgot they had changed the card. Found it and she just stood there. She did give me 30% after. I turned around and there were a few people behind me. If she was trying to hurry me, why not call for someone to help at Customer Service instead of acting like you did? It didn't solve anything and caused a review like this for Kohls. Being nice doesn't hurt anyone.
