I reached out weeks later to figure out what was going on, and received a rude email telling me I had placed a "pre-order" on the sweater (no I hadn't. In fact, I wouldn't have ordered at all if it was on pre-order, as I really didn't care either way about the sweater. Why would I wait weeks/months, since they don't tell you how long pre-order is, for a sweater I only halfway cared about). I just received it on 2/6/2023. It's a Hanes Ultimate Cotton sweater that sells for $16 online. The price on RiffRaff? $54. The print job is fine but that's literally all they do. Buy a cheap sweater and print on it, and take nearly a month to do it. I could've bought one hand stitched off Etsy for that same time and price.

Jewelry: not very impressed: Rustic Cuff was the main brand (mostly "Emerson") which to me, are chunky & gaudy. There are some mini. Wish they sold Gorjana for people who like thinner, more dainty accessories. Tag, Magnolia Lane lines are here. Clothing: cute t-shirts, a lot of flowered tops & kimonos & WAY too much leopard print. One piece of leopard & zebra is enough. Large selection of "Blowfish" canvas sneakers. Sales rack had mostly expected outlier sizes (XS & XL) but 50% off. Nice staff. But I worked for a retail company that thought their products sold themselves for almost a decade. But I am a huge believer that great customer service is what really attracts the money. Today, my mom and I shopped here, we were the only customers in the whole store and no one helped us. At one time my mom was trying on one of the sample shoes and a red head girl asked, "those don't fit?" My mom responded, "unfortunately no." And the sales girl replied, "aw that's too bad." Do I need to say more? What a perfect opportunity for her to say, "oh well let me grab one in your size!" And that's even just the basics. There was about 4 employees in the store who could have easily made a sale from us. We looked at everything. We were ready to buy more than just the $18 sunglasses we got. But our interests soon expired since their interest in us didn't seem exist in the first place. Mason, I'm disappointed. I encourage the management to take a higher interest in the customer service of their employees. Customers need to feel not only welcomed, but wanted.

Since I'm a bit far to drive up just for a shopping spree, I emailed the company to inquire about the necklace. Liz emailed me back immediately to describe the situation: they were out of stock, but would try to see about getting the necklaces from another source for me. Not even a week later, she emailed again to let me know about new stock that had arrived, even sending pictures along. I asked her to set aside one in Teal and one in Salmon. She replied, asking me to call Cassandra at Masons' mall location, who would ship them out to me the same day so I wouldn't have to wait over the weekend. And when they arrived? They were paired with beautiful earrings that I wasn't expecting and even a personalized thank you note from Liz just for shopping with Masons. I love it! Extremely delightful people to work with and I'm so happy with both necklaces and earring sets. If I'm ever in the area, I'm definitely stopping to shop with them again!

Last rotation had an outdoor theme, and right now, the store is holiday themed (+everything on the apparel wall right now is greyscale). Parking near Hello Local is free. Street parking on Emma can get crowded when things are hopping, but there is usually available street parking on the side streets, and there is a large lot behind Phat Tire / First Security. Everything in Hello Local is... You guessed it, locally made. There's always a selection of coffee and apparel in there, and the other items rotate. I'd describe the store as having gift-shop type goods. The one area where Hello Local could improve is that they could have a bigger variety of items for sale in the store. That being said, Hello Local has a nice, clean, well-organized interior that doesn't look cluttered. Hello Local is a welcome addition to downtown Springdale.

I am so excited that my favorite upscale thrift store Beautiful Lives has finally opened an outlet…read morestore! They have a great selection, kind employees, and suport wonderful causes. The only down side is the outlet is it is nothing like their other stores. They carry the items that did not meet their standards to sell in their upscale stores - so more Goodwill quality. Some items are very worn and have holes and stains. They have A LOT of merchandise -men's, women's, and kids along with books, toys, and housewares so you do have to do a lot of digging and browsing. Most items are sorted and hung but some are just in bins. I do wish they had carts or bags to shop with and fitting rooms. Even pop up fitting rooms like they use at events would be nice. The pricing is OK here, it is by weight which can get expensive. Kids toys are $1 a lb and books are only 50 cents a lb which is awesome! But clothes and shoes are $4 a lb which I think is quite high unfortunately for the quality of items. Both times I went with my kids I got a few items -a pair of jeans, a skirt, and 3 tops and it was $24! Not what I expected for sure since I pay that at their regular stores for nicer brands/items. However, they do have frequent sales and a rewards program so you can save money that way! It's definitely worth checking out and you are supporting a non profit and their local causes.
