But I worked for a retail company that thought their products sold themselves for almost a decade. But I am a huge believer that great customer service is what really attracts the money. Today, my mom and I shopped here, we were the only customers in the whole store and no one helped us. At one time my mom was trying on one of the sample shoes and a red head girl asked, "those don't fit?" My mom responded, "unfortunately no." And the sales girl replied, "aw that's too bad." Do I need to say more? What a perfect opportunity for her to say, "oh well let me grab one in your size!" And that's even just the basics. There was about 4 employees in the store who could have easily made a sale from us. We looked at everything. We were ready to buy more than just the $18 sunglasses we got. But our interests soon expired since their interest in us didn't seem exist in the first place. Mason, I'm disappointed. I encourage the management to take a higher interest in the customer service of their employees. Customers need to feel not only welcomed, but wanted.

Since I'm a bit far to drive up just for a shopping spree, I emailed the company to inquire about the necklace. Liz emailed me back immediately to describe the situation: they were out of stock, but would try to see about getting the necklaces from another source for me. Not even a week later, she emailed again to let me know about new stock that had arrived, even sending pictures along. I asked her to set aside one in Teal and one in Salmon. She replied, asking me to call Cassandra at Masons' mall location, who would ship them out to me the same day so I wouldn't have to wait over the weekend. And when they arrived? They were paired with beautiful earrings that I wasn't expecting and even a personalized thank you note from Liz just for shopping with Masons. I love it! Extremely delightful people to work with and I'm so happy with both necklaces and earring sets. If I'm ever in the area, I'm definitely stopping to shop with them again!

But I'm hesitant to order things online if I haven't tried things on to get a feel for the sizing. Today was the day!!! We are in town for some biking and camping and we saw the big red building off the highway on the way in. I was so excited to finally (try on) the overalls and pick out my first pair! The cold snap (and the fact we were winter camping) helped me land on a fleece lined pair. The absolutely LOVE them. I was between sizes and happily sized up so I can have layering options. They're like my favorite pair of snow bibs but cuter!! So, about the store. It was big, clean, and well organized. There was quite a bit on clearance when we were there, so I also grabbed some base layers.

These girls talked negatively about several customers the moment they left the shop. So disrespectful. Bummer because selection is great. I'll be looking for other local stores to shop with.

I was in Fayetteville for a wedding and the dress I brought for the rehearsal dinner was too thin for the fall weather, so a friend recommended I check this place out. I didn't have a lot of time and I was skeptical because in my experience, similar boutiques rarely carry sizes and styles for curvy girls but Liz, the owner, was welcoming and extremely helpful. I enjoyed champagne while we pulled items for me to try on and after a couple of tries I found the perfect dress that I will wear a million more times. On top of that, all dresses were 25% off! They just opened about a month ago and the store is very cute, I love the decor and the layout feels very welcoming. Another impressive thing about 59th and 9th is that they have a plus size section, which I have never seen at similar style boutiques, but is much needed. As I was headed out Liz recommended I check out another new business next door that was having an open house, so not only was she helpful to me in her store, she is a good neighbor! I definitely recommend supporting this new business in Fayetteville. Thanks for all your help, Liz! I got a ton of compliments on my dress at the rehearsal dinner!
