Megan was busy restocking when I spoke with her and she put down what she was doing and helped my mother and I for a good 20 minutes. Megan pulled out various styles and sizes and asked questions to help us find what my mother needed. My mother had a stroke several years ago so with limited mobility and eyesight, it is not easy to shop for clothes. Megan was polite, patient and proactive in anticipating what we were trying achieve and to do it in a timely manner. After selecting three very comfortable and fashionable shorts, we move on to the checkout where Natalie was super helpful in getting me signed up for a Marshall's card and swiftly through the process. When I spoke with Megan and Natalie's manager Nani, to tell her about their kind service, I could see they were led by someone who models good customer service as she was very nice as well. Marshall's has always been a favorite of my mother's due to the value and prices. Today they get excellent marks for customer service!

Olga at checkout was lovely and helpful. Also, the woman monitoring the fitting room was nearby working on some shelves but when I walked up she popped right over to get me a number so I could try on my clothes. again, she wasn't just standing around. I spoke to the manager for a minute and I could tell that she is excited about improvements at the store and trying to make it the it the best it can be. Happy to shop there!

It's conveniently located on Empire Boulevard next to Charlie Reidel's restaurant, in the next parking lot over from Wegmans. I deducted a star because as is common with most Dollar Trees, they're understaffed. There was a line of nine people for one cashier. With the recent renovations complete, and my local Aldi back open I am happy…read more Shopping at Aldi brings me back to my time in Europe shopping at similar stores (ie. Lidl - I wouldn't mind one of those coming to Rochester btw) only enhanced by the customary American Shopping cart. Their carts are huge. Let's be honest. Aldi has really good prices and generally good products. Their produce is generally good quality, though unfortunately not local. I wait for their deals and splurge on avocados and mangoes when they go on sale. They have a nice selection of German products including sauerkraut and red cabbage. Jaffa cakes are readily available here too if you're into that type of treat. You can really get a good deal on healthier option snacks here: dried fruits, nuts, granolas, etc. I have rarely been disappointed by a product I've bought here. If you're into kombucha, kefir, or Bolthouse Farms fruit smoothies - make sure to check in at Aldi for better prices than you can get elsewhere. The staff at this location has always been friendly and helpful. They are really patient with older customers, and I was happy to see that even though they are trained to be quick and efficient when ringing you out, they still care about people and will help out their elders. Of course, you have to bag your own purchases. But that's something I've grown accustomed to living in Europe. Almost everywhere there I did my own bagging. At least no one is squashing my loaves of bread but myself. PS - Aldi's brand of candy is really tasty. If I wasn't on diet, I'd probably be buying it more often.

Well Aldi's had Garlic, but not individual bulbs. They had little packets like other stores. They were wrapped in like a little net. To much Garlic for 1 person to consume in a good time period. Waste not, want not. But it was funny, I have been looking for a certain candy bar which other stores just can't seem to handle. But sure enough Aldi's had them. :) So it was a good day after all. One thing about Aldi's, it is one of the most cleanest grocery stores around. Their inventory is always neat and in order.

And it's safe to say mine had seen better days. Always cleaned and sanitized, bleached, but it was beat. Being close to Walmart, but not always pleased, I still gave it a chance. I went there in pursuit of a new kitchen garbage can and the selection was slim, not many in stock, and not much info as to when new stock was coming in. So I ventured to Target as I've done before. I walked into a very clean, spic & span store, was politely greeted by 2 young stock/inventory men. I asked for directions as to where I could find garbage cans and they immediately directed me. When I got to the isle I had a question about the can top and then locations of bags, and again, prompt help, service! The garbage can is an 11.4 gallons priced at $12.00 dollars, and I also purchased a 110 13 gallon bags at $8.99, grand total, $22.67. And the cash out line was expeditious. I'm pleased! And when I left, I mentioned to the cash out clerk how clean the store was, and helpful the sales people were. I said this is much different than Walmart. He looked at me and said, "we try sir". Target is a well run store, 5 stars!
