When I shop here I feel like I'm rummaging through a yard sale, you never know what your going to find or what you didn't realize you couldn't live without. It shocks me that you can charge more than a dollar for old, outdated looking items that are made in China. I have to admit I frequent The Dollar Tree where everything is a dollar, and you know it! At MR Dollar, not everything is labelled and you don't find out how much something is until you get to the register. Not to mention the basement feel this place offers. Kinda creepy in there.

I put 5 of the packets into my box & held onto one so they could scan & charge me for 6. Including other items. Plus I was just in there and bought stuff 20 minutes earlier. They came up bc some idiot said I was stealing. Dude they have cameras & I was doing this in the wide open. Plus I explained this. Idk I'm from a small town in Texas & this is not a big deal but they rude as hell and said, "Don't come back to this store". All because 1 person said I was stealing. Really? In the open? I was totally disappointed with this store. It sounded so promising but I found it to be nothing…read morelike I expected. The concept of the store is ok. However, there are tables of boxes of different sizes and then in the same table there are open packages of items. Most boxes aren't marked with what's inside of them. The only way to find out is to take the boxes to a counter where staff will open them for you. I understand that people are careless and probably leave things a mess. But if this is the only way to see what's inside the box, why wouldn't they take the time to actually write what is inside of the box before you take it over? I walked past so many items that probably were great, but I really did not want to stand in line and wait for their staff to open up every box. The pricing leaves something to be desired as well. I understand that there are discounts according to the day, but you would go in on a Thursday and get the items for $.50, and on a Friday the exact same items are $12? Seriously? I know many people enjoy this kind of store but I can honestly say this is not for me.
