This particular location is kept very organized, and the sales associates are good about checking to see if they can help you find something. In the age of online shopping, it's easy to look online for some things, but I personally prefer to shop for things like towels and linens in person and this location has a variety of options and a nice show room. My partner and I have a bar we bought here in our home and it's held up well over the last few years. Sure, it was a pain to put together, but we were really happy with the end product and it's stood the test of time. On my most recent visit, I had some trouble getting my email 20 percent off coupon to work, and the sales associate took a look at the coupon on my phone and was kind enough to honor it even though I clearly needed to print it out to use it.

Curtis greeted me and the conversation was easy and he had another associate tend to me from then till the end. I'm a newbie to the area and they were super welcoming (obviously they want my business-I'm in the market for all new stuff in my condo!) but they did a good job being genuine as well. I love that if you aren't happy with something you can bring it back as well.

Very good produce and bakery and meat counter selections and employees in that areas. Pharmacy area is super and they give really good immunizations there. Most of the cashiers upfront are friendly and nice. Late afternoon and night manager is a grouch and stares at people and is not friendly at all. Lurks and follows shoppers around store and scolls, pretty creepy. He came up to me and said I made someone in the store uncomfortable and to leave and never come back in store. Ok, to use pharmacy outside pickup. Thanks a lot. I don't need to shop somewhere they don't want me. Going to Waterfront store for my grocery shopping.

I ordered a cheeseburger and a can of soda. The warm cans of soda were resting in a tub of lukewarm water. There were no napkins. The patio door was locked, so there was no place to sit down. The incident made me grumpy. So after I had finished my overpriced burger, I went back to the point of sale and complained. I politely suggested to the grill cook, Bryan, an Assistant Manager, that they had a customer service problem. I detailed it (lukewarm soda, lack of napkins, and a locked patio). Acting like a jackass seventeen-year-old, he said they did not have a problem. He did not accept the problem , Instead he denied there was one... He did not apologize and instead escalated his unprofessional manner. Whatever happened to the HyVee slogan "a helpful smile in every aisle"? I guess since he was outside the store, he's not required to be civil to the customers ...

I want to take a moment to thank the West Side Store in Muscatine for reminding me just how…read moreimportant kindness and compassion can be. On August 28th, I had the unique opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the store firsthand while waiting in the summer heat for over an hour until help eventually arrived thanks to an outside party who stepped up for me. During this time, I interacted with one of the female clerks, who certainly left a lasting impression. While I had hoped for a little understanding and maybe the chance to call my family for assistance, I was instead treated to a display of sharp wit, snippy remarks, and a snarky tone that made it clear she had other priorities. It's not often that customer service manages to turn a simple request into such a memorable moment. In a way, I'm grateful--it's not every day you encounter staff who can show you exactly what not to expect from a neighborhood store. Her approach was so striking that it will stick with me for a long time. For anyone visiting, I'd recommend coming fully prepared, because you might not get the kind of support you're hoping for. So thank you, West Side Store, for teaching me patience, endurance in the heat, and for giving me an experience I won't soon forget. Sometimes the best lessons come disguised as customer service.
