I always take forever in the store because I am reading labels in the frozen foods and the unusual pickles and sauces and garnishes. Produce is on par with Harris Teeter and giant . Bargains abound. When you usually walk in you are funneled down what is essentially their snack aisle. But at this one, you are greeted with the produce section, which I thought was more appropriate. Could also explain why a majority of the produce was picked over or completely gone. I made my way through the store and grabbed everything I needed/wanted and then some. I paid particular attention to the ALDI Finds section just to see if they would have anything extra. I know a lot of people usually just browse over the items that are for the home, but I prefer to go through the food section and pick over items that they don't usually carry. It's always fun to see what food items they don't carry and probably never will again. It's like a game, you might like it, you might not. If you do like it, too bad, you'll never see it again. Checking out was a bit of a stalled area. I did my time in the checkout line. I always somehow come out of here with just two bags, not sure how I do it, but I'm glad I don't go over that amount.

So I waited for a bit and it turns out someone else took my order. As soon as staff realized, a wonderful and kind lady made my salad and refresher on the spot and even offered me a soda while I waited. Food is always on point and they are super consistent.

The employees here are always really helpful and make the experience here enjoyable. I like that this base doesn't get as insanely busy as Andrews and other exchanges in the area. The food court is decent here, too. The only real negative thing I have to say is that the wait in line can easily get long because they only have a few check out counters here, and it does not accomodate the facility very well. The attendant retrieved the WD40 again, but nothing had been done to sweep out the unit. There were live roaches and spiders, old cobwebs up the ceiling, along with accumulated dirt outside and paper debris form previous renter(s). I left yet another call for the district manager, and called CubeSmarts customer service. Now awaiting return calls again. Before signing on the dotted line, INSPECT the unit! I was looking for some items for my apartment that this chain usually carried. And since they had signs on it all the place that the store was closing and there were extra discounts, I was in. Walking in you could tell that items were already picked over and it was hard to tell which department was where. You didn't have that merchandise to the ceiling look everyone is used to. I ended up getting some bedsheets, a duvet, and a shower curtain. All things that I wanted/needed at a much less price than I expected. I mean, I wasn't expecting to find anything, but I wound up with these three items which came out to be less than one at the two nearby department stores. If I would have put more thought into this visit, I would have gotten a cart and made my way through this store with a fine toothed comb. I would have for sure made sure I went up and down every aisle to just snag a deal on an item I could have used. But, honestly, there wasn't going to be much left if I came back.
