Everything seemed to be of good quality and prices varied from inexpensive to expensive (something at every price point). The staff were friendly and checked on us a few times while we were looking through the store and made sure that we didn't need any help. Really a nice little store that has quite a bit of stuff. Prices are the same as other locations and if you know your prices they have some good deals. They may not compete with the Walmarts of the world as far as inventory/selection and pricing ... but they are intended for super convenient, reasonably priced shopping options and this location certainly delivers on all of that. They don't have all the same brands and household items you may find at one of the bigger mall based department stores, but they make up for it with friendly employees and a really good selection all at some really good prices. Layout is really crowded, they have so much stuff crammed in here you'll be turning side ways to navigate some of the aisles. Really good shoe selection with some brands you won't find at other department stores (good brands - as well as the other well known brands). Sign up for email alerts and you'll get 20% off one item coupons and things like that. Really good deal when you can stack that with the already good prices they have. Great location and great service. Highly recommend if you've never been to one of their locations.

Really like the drink selection (not related to soda), lots of flavored waters and at a reasonable price. Meat selection always seems to be really fresh and reasonable prices. Also, typically, cuts don't seem to be overly fatty. Bakery department has a good selection of breads and dessert (cakes, cookies, ice cream cakes, etc) available and at similar prices as you would pay anywhere else. They have really good rates for the propane bottle exchange too (less than $17). Staff is always friendly and helpful and keep checkout lines moving quickly. Overall store cleanliness is always spot on. Not a lot of clutter or appearance that they need to do cleaning. Really like this store and continue shopping here.

Large selection of shoes for men, women and children and socks galore for every outdoor condition. They carry sleeping bags, water shoes and even Hoka and Brooks brand running shoes. She immediately recommended the ALTRA hiking boots which have a wide toe box. She brought several models, and I walked out of there with a pair of ALTRA Lone Peak 9 hiking boots. These were probably the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I have been everywhere in the Huntsville and Madsion for years and have not been able to find a place that has wide hiking boots. I even went to REI who had no wide boots in my size. Gadsen Outfitters not only gave me a Military discount, but they also have a 30 day return policy. You don't see businesses anymore with such honesty and ethics and actually want to help a customer. It is worth the hour drive from Guntersville as I have found a place where not only have boots for my mangled feet, but are experienced, knowledgeable and are an honest business.
