That being said, I did take off a star because: while you can find some excellent clearance deals at times, i have noticed the last few times I shopped when I have had a coupon (sign up for texts and you'll get one just about every week!), but it never works because of the brand, it's a doorbuster, or some other exclusion in that itty bitty fine print. It's a super long list, so pay attention! Even when it says "regular or sales price," it only means certain sales and I can't figure out how to keep it straight. Especially when there is nothing to indicate "doorbuster" on the top of the rack where the sale price is displayed. If I was a man shopping for my manly self, I would probably give 3 stars. They do have some good brands but just a few, and the selections of everything are all pretty similar. Overall though, for my actual womanly self, if i needed an outfit or shoes I could 80-90% find what I needed at Belk at a decent price. Their women's departments have everything from athletic to dressy occasions. Shoes, purses, jewelry - the same. And if price is no concern, then it would be closer to 100%! But considering that I have poured over Belk Sunday ads in the paper since I can remember, my style was basically shaped by Belk - so that may have a lot to do with it!

I haven't see any major pile up of stock or trash. The workers aren't outgoing with their customer service, but most TJ Maxx employees are busy stocking or checking out customers. I think the prices are also a reasonable value compared to other locations.

Food World grocery store was the staple here for a long time and after it closed, it seemed like this hometown plaza had seen better days- although there were a few that kept me coming back: Asahi, Dollar General, A1 Cleaners. Now it boasts a Big Lots, Dollar Tree, and Dirt Cheap for any bargain hunters, and America's Thrift Store for some super deals. Union Jack moved here last year, there is a church I recently noticed and a very popular gym where Center Stage used to be. Kindred home health and hospice rounds up the back - with a few more businesses I don't frequent too. You can also grab Krystal or bank while you're out shopping. Looking forward to keeping business in Rainbow City - a great place to live and shop!

ABSOLUTE BULL CRAP. My grandmother who cannot drive now has her groceries delivered and is paying…read morea fee for Walmart plus. She has family coming into town this weekend for her 90TH BIRTHDAY. They charged her for 2 quarts of ice cream and never delivered it even though they report that they did on the website. This may not seem like a big deal to most people but to my grandmother it is. When I called Walmart in Attalla they could not do a thing. Not even make it right by just delivering the products that they charged her for. They tried to give me a damn number. The first extremely rude person that I spoke with was April. I pulled a Karen and asked for what I thought was going to be the manager and a dude name Matthew picked up the phone and tried to give me a number to call. He also went into some word vomit about "our drivers" and "insurance". "Our drivers:" and this Walmart is the ones that charged a 90 year old lady that has been a LOYAL customer for more years than that assistant Matthew has been alive. Hell he wasnt even alive when Walmart was where Johnsons is now. My problem is this TERRIBLE service recovery. I am bypassing the actual store manager (Matthew introduced himself as store manager) and am calling Walmart corporate tomorrow. This is no way to treat loyal customers. Disgusting and lazy as hell. I personally hate Walmart and always have but my grandmother prefers to patronize this shitty store so I am going to pursue this.

Something about this store just feels better than other locations. It always seems to be very clean and even though it's organized just like all the other locations I've been in over time, it just seems to have more space available to display the products. Just like all the other locations they have Men's, Women's, Children's, Household items, and occasionally a mixture of other items (exercise, toys, jewelry, etc.) Typically not a lot of staff working so check out can take a few minutes, but that's really about the only negative. Also, keep in mind that selection varies a lot even from store to store and changes up based on what the current season is.

The day of delivery my sent me a picture of a bunch of boxes that they set in the rooms . All of the furniture had to be unboxed and assembled which we were not told at the time of purchase or would have definitely not bought it . I called up set and complained. when I got home and spent 4 hours unboxing and putting furniture together we realized that they had shorted us a set of Chest of drawers for the main guest room . We called and they said they were going to to refund of delivery fee and bring us the missing furniture the next Monday morning. They refunded the $450 delivery but never brought the missing furniture that I paid over $600 for and now reuse to give us what we paid for . They are not only misleading customers they are now stealing for us .
