Staff was really nice and helpful, however we really didn't need to help, we were just kind of looking around. I called customer service and they wanted to charge me full price and shipping which I told them was not acceptable. They sent me a defective vacuum from another store. I get the the new one and attempt take the other one back. It had been in the pool for approximately 1 minute before we realized the part was missing. Lady working the counter at the Gadsden store was a bit of a snot and that's being kind. They refused to take back the vacuum back. They told me I have to call the manufacturer to get a letter so they can refund me. This stores corporate return policy is absolutely the worst. If you buy something and it's not right somehow it becomes your problem. I would not recommend buying from Academy unless you have money you don't mind wasting.

Something about this store just feels better than other locations. It always seems to be very clean and even though it's organized just like all the other locations I've been in over time, it just seems to have more space available to display the products. Just like all the other locations they have Men's, Women's, Children's, Household items, and occasionally a mixture of other items (exercise, toys, jewelry, etc.) Typically not a lot of staff working so check out can take a few minutes, but that's really about the only negative. Also, keep in mind that selection varies a lot even from store to store and changes up based on what the current season is.

My Husband and I had already heard bad reviews (Horror stories) From other people. We didn't say anything.We were told by Bobby Kintz to pick up the tuxedos on Thursday 2 days before the wedding. We get there and he has nothing ready. He then tells us to come back on Friday the day of the Rehearsal because one of the ring bearers shoes are not in and they should come in but if not we could go buy him a pair. And they wouldn't look like the rest of the shiny shoes the men were wearing in the wedding , he tells us they don't make them for little boys. So we get there on Friday and take the tuxedos to guntersville where the boys were and the tuxedos don't fit . They looked like men's suits cut down and the jackets came to there knees. They looked like they were going to a circus. The day of the wedding I called two of my special friends Ted and Rita at Tuxedo Inn . They told me don't worry just bring the boys to me.They saved my daughters wedding by dressing the boys in under an hour . They looked so handsome and they had shiny shoes. BKINTZ LIED TO US and said that they don't make kids sizes and no one could fit them . Thank you to Tuxedo Inn for helping us and making our daughters wedding special

I am not the only one that wasn't please with my suit/tux. No one liked them. Another thing was there was a blood stain on the arm of my white shirt. It was nasty and unsanitary. They didn't even have my Suit together until the day before, I also have a job and am a full time High school student so i did not have time within one day to go back and change it because they close at 3. I was all around unsatisfied and hope we go somewhere else for Coronations in the future.
