I wish I had gotten the name of the lady working in the Men's department tonight because she was very patient and helpful as I tried to make my decision about my purchases, trying coupons, price checking, etc. And this is basically what makes or breaks a major department store review in my opinion. You probably already know what to expect as far as prices and brands they carry ... but how was the customer service? I can honestly say that most of the time it has been very good. In cosmetics, shoes, different women's departments, back when I shopped for young kids, home, etc.,I have had good experiences in each place. That being said, I did take off a star because: while you can find some excellent clearance deals at times, i have noticed the last few times I shopped when I have had a coupon (sign up for texts and you'll get one just about every week!), but it never works because of the brand, it's a doorbuster, or some other exclusion in that itty bitty fine print. It's a super long list, so pay attention! Even when it says "regular or sales price," it only means certain sales and I can't figure out how to keep it straight. Especially when there is nothing to indicate "doorbuster" on the top of the rack where the sale price is displayed. If I was a man shopping for my manly self, I would probably give 3 stars. They do have some good brands but just a few, and the selections of everything are all pretty similar. Overall though, for my actual womanly self, if i needed an outfit or shoes I could 80-90% find what I needed at Belk at a decent price. Their women's departments have everything from athletic to dressy occasions. Shoes, purses, jewelry - the same. And if price is no concern, then it would be closer to 100%! But considering that I have poured over Belk Sunday ads in the paper since I can remember, my style was basically shaped by Belk - so that may have a lot to do with it!

Five Below is really hit or miss. As the name implies, everything is $5 or less. They have items…read morethat are seasonal when you first come into the store, so for example beginning of summer they have toys for the pool, sun screen, towels, chairs and things like that. As you go through the store they have sections dedicated to clothing that includes t-shirts, socks, pants and even some shoes. They have an area dedicated to work out accessories. They have a small electronics section that has chargers, ear buds, headphones, video games, movies and things like that. They have a section that is dedicated to games and toys. They also have an area that is dedicated to snack foods ... basically candies and chips and those sorts of things. In some cases you get what you pay for and you may not be getting the best quality. In other cases they have some really good closeout deals that just didn't get sold the first go around. This trip my wife actually found a couple shelf and hanging pot type things that were really an exceptional value. When we did some price comparing they were actually nicer than ones that you could order from bigger name brand stores for more money. So, kind of like I said, it can be hit or miss. You may go two or three times and see nothing ... or you may find a steal of a good deal.

Luckily, I finally found out the answer to the mystery: it's like a dollar store, but everything is $5 or less... Five.... BELOW!!! So now that you are in the loop, let me fill you in. They have items anywhere from $1 to &5 and it can be a $5 pool float (looked cheap), $5 shoes (looked really cheap), $5 phone case (these are not bad, I've had several). $1 or $3 items can be pens, coloring books, candy, and more. They also have T-shirt's, home stuff like organization and decor, exercise stuff like free weights and jump ropes, cheap toys, phone chargers, kick balls .... you get the idea. My most amazing find came this past visit when I found $5 macrame hanging pots. They are super, super cute and feel sturdy. The planter is even ceramic. (Also a macrame hanging planter shelf. Both are included in pics but I had my arms full & had to take them after I got home) The employees are friendly and welcome you into the store. However there is usually not any staff walking around the store (but I've never actually needed help because everything is labeled really clearly). I only gave 4 stars because many of the items are not good quality even for $5. But nonetheless I recommend you go check out what they have as one review can surely not do this place justice!

They don't have all the same brands and household items you may find at one of the bigger mall based department stores, but they make up for it with friendly employees and a really good selection all at some really good prices. Layout is really crowded, they have so much stuff crammed in here you'll be turning side ways to navigate some of the aisles. Really good shoe selection with some brands you won't find at other department stores (good brands - as well as the other well known brands). Sign up for email alerts and you'll get 20% off one item coupons and things like that. Really good deal when you can stack that with the already good prices they have. Great location and great service. Highly recommend if you've never been to one of their locations.

Something about this store just feels better than other locations. It always seems to be very clean and even though it's organized just like all the other locations I've been in over time, it just seems to have more space available to display the products. Just like all the other locations they have Men's, Women's, Children's, Household items, and occasionally a mixture of other items (exercise, toys, jewelry, etc.) Typically not a lot of staff working so check out can take a few minutes, but that's really about the only negative. Also, keep in mind that selection varies a lot even from store to store and changes up based on what the current season is.

Prices are good, and the clearance racks are even better if you can find something you like in your size there! I deducted one star (and I wanted to deduct 100 stars) because of the fitting room situation. They moved it to the front of the store, two tiny cubicles and we had to wait forever in line to try stuff on! That was from before Christmas until last month. The most recent trip I noticed there was the regular fitting rooms in the back (which are plentiful) were open with an attendant. So I'm not giving the star back but at least I didn't deduct 100 ... so that's fair I think! Typically the attitude going in here should be "I'm just looking" as it's hit or miss when you have something very specific in mind. They will always have a selection of food, clothes and electronics as well as some household items. Everything else varies quite a bit. Prices range from really good to not so good, you kind of need to know what you're shopping for and what prices are. They are buying stuff in bulk and putting it out based on the lot price they are paying. No interactions with staff while I was here since I didn't spot a bargain I couldn't have. So not sure how helpful, friendly they are. Store itself does show some age, but it's very in line with any other Bargain Hunt I've ever been in. I feel like the typical Bargain hunt store is a former grocery store that has been slightly renovated, but not updated. That being said, this location is pretty organized and seems to be kept pretty clean. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if I was in the area I would pop in to see what the newest seasonal stuff is. Also, they tend to have some pretty good end of season sales, so keep an eye out for those.

I have the picture and the drivers name was James. i got zero compensation for the rude gesture.They wouldn't even give me a 25$ compensation for it. I realize I am a nobody to them and their monopoly company that cares about nobody but money. As far as this location, nothing really stands out to differentiate them as above par or below par from other Walmart locations. Tons of parking, like you will find everywhere else. Huge store packed with shoppers like you will find anywhere else. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Prices are what you would expect to find at any other location. So this review is pretty standard, except I can say that I learned something new at this Walmart last Saturday. As we were walking with our items towards the Garden Center to check out, we were asked by an associate it we were ready to check out. I thought she was the check out person in Garden and was going to go back with us and take care of us. Nope! She was actually a mobile check out clerk. She had a buggy and a scanner and if we were paying via card, was able to check us out, bag our stuff and print a receipt. Pretty cool process actually. If you are used to Walmart then you will be familiar with this place. No issues and will continue to use for our shopping needs.

I was very surprised, upon entrance, to find that they have a large selection of reasonably priced furniture. Chairs, couches, shelves, beds, dressers, entertainment centers, plug and play fire places ... they really have a little of everything when it comes to that department. That covers the entire center of the store, now if you move around the outside perimeter you'll find household, electronics, food, seasonal and a variety of items you'd find at the likes of a Walmart and places like that. In many instances they don't have name brand, but the quality and price both seem to be pretty good overall. If we are looking for something, I'll probably try to remember to stop in here a little more frequently and see what they have in the rotation at the time. Good store to check out!
