I know they've poured a lot of money into the freezer and cooler departments over the last few years which in my opinion was the only part in need of fixing. A great deli and hot food items department and extensive produce selection. They ALWAYS have the best meat department with great prices on beef compared to any other stores including Hyvee and walmart. You might pay a little more for other store items here but that is the cost of the convenience of a large supermarket located close to home that is family owned. My only complaint is with myself for not patronizing them enough.

I went here on May 6, 2023 to do my bi-weekly grocery shopping. It's not the store I normally go to…read morebut I was a little short on money so you gotta do what you gotta do. Things were easy enough to find and I got everything I needed, and the prices were great too. The problem came at checkout. The checkout process was so needlessly convoluted. There was absolutely nobody working any checkout lane, so I was forced to use the self-checkout, which I shouldn't have to do since I don't work there. After the computer continually yelling at me to hurry up (yes, it actually repeatedly yells at you if you aren't fast enough) I had to put my card in three separate times before the jank software would recognize it. And after that, it made me use a SEPARATE card for 60-something cents for the bags, because universe-forbid a coin input should be installed in the machines. Aldi needs human workers at their checkout lines. Because checkout was so needlessly stressful, I will not be back here.

This store is absolutely the worst I have ever been to. I came in with my ESA & was told no dogs…read moreallowed. Legally I am fully entitled to go anywhere with him & not obligated to explain myself. He was wearing his ESA vest & tag & I still got kicked out. I have my letter of approval for my dog to be my ESA, but I wasn't gonna show my letter when not obligated to. I figure, why bother when they don't want my business? I don't ever plan on going back there.
