I had a great shopping experience at this location this morning. I found everything I needed and all the employees were cheerful. However as I was checking out there was an older woman behind me. Her plants kept blocking the cashiers keyboard. James (the cashier) was getting frustrated and when he pushed the plants back, the woman told him that he was rude. This Kroger store provides a variety of options for vegans and vegetarians that typically aren't found in local stores and supermarkets. The store is very clean and welcoming. This afternoon I needed flowers for my three granddaughters' dance recital--it was an emergency. I had forgotten about the long standing flower tradition after ballet recitals and sandra at Ottawa Illinois's north side Kroger store saved the day for me. She was finished for the day but still she asked if she could help--she could and she did! The floral dept manager had gone home for the day so Sandra helped me pick out 3 cute bouquets, add suckers and gift cards and sent me back just in time for my husband and I to shower the little dancers with their posies--thank you so much Sandra!!!' read more

Over all the store is alright, they do not do crazy rests all the time. So it is hard to find things odds are everything is in the same spot it was 10 years ago, and the aisles are well marked. On the other side of the coin they run with a short staff, and even though they have U-scan stations there is often not an attendant present to help you out if need be. My biggest issue is the quality of the deli it is sub par, even though this is the closet grocer to me (besides wal-mart) I will drive downtown to get a better deli experience read more

The best pharmacy around! I've gone to a lot of pharmacies over the years but it is truly a pleasure to purchase my medicine at the Kroger Pharmacy. The whole staff is so friendly. When I walk in the door they know me by name and they're always friendly and willing to take the time to ask me how I'm doing. This is by far the fastest Pharmacy I've ever been to. My medicine is always ready on time and always filled correctly. Many times I have requested medicine to be filled through my phone app and they text me back within 15 minutes that it's ready. I congratulate Kroger on their selection of Pharmacy staff. They are truly the best. I will continue to purchase my medicine here in the future. read more

This store is well-lit with large, clear aisles for those of us who have a disability. They have a large variety of items with decent sales. Most employees are helpful and friendly and I rarely have an issue. If I need assistance, I can usually find help fairly quickly. I buy 50% of my groceries here when I visit the area. The check-out is most often fairly smooth, too. read more
