Use it or lose it??!!…read more I know everybody that's a local. Turlock wants to support their Brick + Mortar grocery store that is family owned. But when you continuously get outdated boxed food or sour grape grapes or fruit that is rotten the money starts to add up that you spend here. I love this grocery store because the people are all very kind to you and you get used to seeing them. But they need someone to do quality control when they bring in the fruit and vegetables. One out of three times the fruit is rotten or un edible. Please people check dates on boxes and check the fruit before you buy it.

The people that work at the store are so nice. For a store that's called an outlet, I would not expect the employees because to be as nice as they are. On two separate occasions, I was looking for items that were not on the counter. One lady found me blue cheese in the back. The other guy looked around for okra, but they didn't have it. He didn't mention that they had it at one time. I love the giant avocados and mangoes. If you're a Stan state student or employee with an ID, you also get 10% off on Wednesdays. I like this little store. I always find something new. And I am treated like a valued customer.

Nice produce section. Would like to see their beer selection be on par with the other G.O. across town. Lots of check-out registers were available, hopefully that continues as the crowds slow down from their grand opening. Not a big fan of multiple food trucks taking up what is already limited spots in the parking lot. Again, hopefully they leave in a few weeks.

Meanwhile, you're getting cheaper groceries than anywhere in the area, which with inflation, matters. The staff are friendly, and the store is very clean. While you are subject to product availability, meaning you might not always find everything you're looking for, I still do most my shopping here. You can pick up everything they don't have (for a lot more) nearby. If you can somehow manage to get over someone overwatering a plant, or something about taking a card before cash at checkout, you're bound to appreciate the extra money in your pocket each week.
