This is an older store and you can tell by the large cracks in the floor and lack of brightness inside. It seems small when compared to the superstore groceries in the area. If you are familiar with this layout, I suppose you can get around quickly, but since it isn't our "go to" spot, we always struggle trying to find specific items that may not be listed on the aisle signs. I found cashews for my recipes in the snacks aisle and again in the produce section, but it was more luck than anything that led me to them. The parking for this place is always tight and even if you find a spot near the entrances, the lot has angled spaces so you have one way traffic but it seems tight and I don't like parking too close to the building because it can get crazy in the parking area. Before I moved to town, I was warned by a long time resident that this place is unusual and they had stopped shopping at this place because of the awkward parking and lack of items you can find at the much larger supermarkets in the area. I had to go back and have another person verify my receipt while the door greeter held my $12 lotion hostage. They verified I paid for it while my five year old held my hand and said she was scared and my two year old was screaming in his seat. No one even apologized when they verified I had paid for this stupid lotion. These are people I have had multiple interactions with and they were so sure I stole a lotion. I looked at him, we made eye contact but he continued to have a personal conversation with a coworker. I stood there ticked off but patiently waited for him to come over. He, instead went to another register to help someone else. I stood there long enough for the computer to ask me "do you wish to continue?". If there would've been multiple people needing help I would've understood but after making eye contact I looked around and at that time I was the only one needing assistance. When he finally came over he didn't say a word to me. This was the second interaction I've had with that guy and he was rude both times.

They offer U-pick apples & Pumpkins or if you're in a hurry they're ready to grab from the red barn. Pumpkins are super reasonably priced at $.40 a Lb or pie pumpkins for $3. The concession stand is open on Saturday & Sunday. I love the fried biscuits with apple butter & of course you must get the apple cider slushies!! I don't remember seeing it prior, but they had apple cobbler warmed up with ice cream, delicious! I just love this place so much! Even though it was bigger than I needed, I figured out how to make it work. They do have a rewards program but I'm not enrolled because I don't shop here very often. Their deli meats hams, bologna, turkey breast , pickle & pepper loaf, chicken breast, salami, pepperoni, plus cheeses, pasta salad, coleslaw, chicken salad, pineapple walnut salad, feta salad, and potato salad. They even have my cat's favorite Friskies pate cat food. How many convenience stores stock five kinds of cat litter? And charcoal for grilling out?
