Business makes it hard to keep the store looking perfect and pristine. I don't mind though. Paying .50 or $1 for each item doesn't leave much room for great profits. I love looking around just to see what $1 can buy these days. Each store includes areas for snacks/drinks, some food, frozen food, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, home decor, party supplies, balloons, cards, holiday/seasonal items, even toys for kids. Unfortunately, what could have been a positive return quickly turned sour. Upon entering the store, my 4-year-old daughter unexpectedly became sick and vomited near the front entrance. My wife immediately and apologetically sought help from the nearest cashier near the front door. Instead of receiving understanding or reassurance, she was met with eye rolling and complete indifference, no words of support, no assistance, no empathy. While accidents happen, the response from staff in moments like these speaks volumes about a store's culture and customer care. Sadly, this experience has reaffirmed why we switched to Costco in the first place, and why we'll be returning there.

Choice beef is also delicious. I buy whole boneless prime ribeye and cut my own steaks - great money saving. Their Prime brisket is reasonably priced - this week, under $4.00 per pound.
