This store used to be ok but last 2 weeks it smells dank and musty. Not sure what changed. They still have good customer service.

I firat found out about this Mexican Store and Taco Truck from locals while I was at an art exhibit that was in town. This place may very well have the most authentic taco experience in Western New York. The taco truck is parked outside of the grocery store, and you can order single tacos in steak, chicken, carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor, or buy an order of tacos, which gives you one of each! Each taco has tons of meat, along with diced onion and cilantro, and comes with lime wedges and pickled onion. Bottles of Guacamole, Roja and Verde sauces are also available, I personally love the Verde. There are a few tables outside, and a few indoors in a side room of the Store. The taco truck seems to only be open on weekends from mid May to mid October. The store is interesting as well, with a lot of fresh produce, snacks, clothes and more that you can't find at most grocery stores.

This is a review of the actual store. The taco truck, which sits outside, has very limited hours, and is only open in the summer, so I will do a separate review of that when I finally get to try it. Hopefully Yelp will move the Taco Truck reviews over to the new listing once it exists. The people running it are lovely. The Mexican drinks are dirt cheap and authentic imported. Try all of the Jarritos, or try some of the Mexican coke which is made with real sugar and therefore actually tastes surprisingly... good! You can see from the pictures that the place is full of all kinds of amazing stuff. If you're ever in Medina, you must stop by. It's not a town you'd ever expect such a marvellous extensive Mexican store in, and yet, here it is. I hope they stay in business. I think they're connected to the Monte Alban restaurants in Rochester and the burbs of the 585. And of course if the taco truck is open, stop there and have a taco. You can always call this store and ask if their taco truck is open, and if not, then when. Speaking of tacos, would you like to see mine. Oh wait, I have the other thing. The Chorizo. Well maybe you can put Chorizo in the Taco? That sounds like it would be perfect. Let me know if you're up for it. After all, it's my life. And all the people, so many people, all go hand in hand through their Parklife. Damon "Monte" Albarn told me.

I am a casual Tops shopper in general, never for a big-haul shop, as Tops prices are typically too high compared to other grocery stores. I do weekly grocery pickups at Walmart for our regular hauls. But I still like Tops for running in to grab a few things, and a little bit of impulse-buying-aisle-perusing while I am in there. This Tops location is as good as any Tops for those reasons. It is a big and bright store, with all of the things you'd expect to find in a chain grocery store, and probably some surprises too. This tops is in a plaza next to a Dollar Tree, with plenty of lot parking. We've had no issues here using the self-checkouts or when a clerk checks us out, everyone is always friendly enough. If you have a big shop to do, there is an Aldi just down the road that will likely save you some money. But if you are lucky to hit a good Tops sale for what you need, or need more variety to find something specific, this Tops location is a reliable store as needed.

My thought is that self scan need nothing as far as tuition, college books, food, THEY HaVE NO NEEDS. Why then should we do their job and wait on our selves.....Until Tops has a better customer service then I will shop there as little as possible. Complaint go to the way side as if we are peons to them...The only bright side to the tops in medina's management teem is Darlene. She is a people person. She works with you and she will address your problems in a professional manner, make you feel appreciated. But Medina Tops in general SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!
