Well, this dollar store is definitely one of the best. It is head and shoulders above the ones over in Monticello, I assure you. This one has got great stuff. It has got frozen food! Yes, actual frozen food. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, dollar-store look-down-er. So if you're in Honesdale to go to the Wal-Mart or Home Depot, or to eat German food at one of the Central European restaurants that I've never been in, by all means drop by the Dollar General. A feast of buying awaits. There are frying pans almost as good as the ones in Wal-Mart, and slightly cheaper! There is stationery. There are pens. There is glue. Good glue. There is plastic. There is stuff made in China and other countries, all utilizing the finest in child slave labor. Next door is a movie theater that isn't very busy. The Dollar General in hawley always has a bunch of stuff out front getting dirty from dirt flying around the parking lot, people's cigarette butts and garbage that people throw on the ground not just in front of the store but also in the parking lot. There used to be a trash can and a bench in front of the store but store employees and people from the public would sit there and throw cigarette butts and garbage on the ground around the neck and leave it there. People were complaining to the township so the bench and the garbage can were removed. Now the garbage and cigarette butts are still littered outside the store and in the parking lot. The 1 employee heavy set blonde lady has a nasty attitude toward people for no reason! You can walk in the door minding your own business and she will kick you out of the store for no reason or she will give you a nasty attitude if she's in a bad mood. She's nice to some people but not everyone. This particular Dollar General is very crowded and the prices are a joke! There are many things there that I can get cheaper elsewhere so I decided to stay away from Dollar General stores. It's not worth my time or energy to attempt to shop there without having a problem with a store employee or because I can't find something that I know is normally in a certain aisle but they continuously move things around and I hate it!! Sorry but I don't want to spend an hour in Dollar General just to purchase a few things. They keep building new Dollar General stores but they can't get anyone to work at their stores for more than just a few months except for a few wacky employees who stick around for awhile.

To make matters worse, I spent way too much time going in circles with Walmart's chat system just trying to reach a human. After finally speaking with someone, I was told I have to wait another 48 hours before I can even request a refund because they want to see if the order gets delivered again. So let's do the math: 48 hours waiting for a delayed package, then another 48 hours waiting to ask for a refund. That's four days of waiting after Walmart already failed to deliver the order correctly. What does a person have to do to get some wine glasses and plates? The most frustrating part isn't even the delivery mistake. It's spending time with multiple customer service representatives only to end up right back at square one. In an era where companies are investing heavily in AI and customer experience, Walmart needs to do better. If customers have to fight through automated systems and multiple support agents just to get basic help, something is broken.

I didn't get his name but he was wearing glasses, had a faux hawk and im pretty sure is a manager. When I asked him if they had edible glitter he laughed at me and said no. I found this to be rude and disrespectful. I walked away I was so mad. However, I then asked someone who was stocking shelves. She was so great to deal with her name was Kayla. She pointed out and helped me look in places it may have been and even checked in the backstock for me. She made my experience better. However, if the guy i first talked to was a manager, I would definitely recommend for him to go through extensive training or be fired because due to that interaction alone, I will not be back. Kayla should definitely be promoted because she is phenomenal!
