So happened to stumble upon this Kroger when I picked up a pizza in the area. I was surprised how…read moreclose it is to my Nail shop on Normandy, which is the cross street that this Kroger is located. I ran in to return some bakery goods that my coworkers were not worthy of. That's right--I'm that petty sometimes. . .may I add that it was a week later when I returned the desserts back to the store? It wasn't intentional, but I wasn't going out of my way to return it either, No prob. I had my receipt that the customer service rep didn't really look at and received my cash money back. Cool Beans! Decided to do a little shopping while I was inside. Shelves are nicely stocked and organized. Produce is pretty fresh. Only thing I can "complain" about is that the deli doesn't sell the chipotle fried chicken. Since I really didn't want to stop anywhere else that night, decided to get the four regular fried chicken wings. Unfortunately, they only had 2 wing available and a piece of a wing like the drummette section. Almost passed on it altogether, but why not be a little healthy? Decided to make up the order with baked wings instead. My luck: The guy gave me a wing free. I think I like this Kroger, but a little bias, I wish they had the chipotle fried chicken. With a pharmacy and gas station at this location as well, this is easily becoming my place to shop after going to the gym or after getting my nails done. Convenience is always a winner in my book!

Over the years. they started carrying more and more organic and gluten free products. This location doesn't have a seafood department, but they started carrying some non-frozen seafood options, along with sushi and rotisserie chickens. No deli, no meat counter, no pharmacy and defintely no curbside. The last time I was here, I saw a cockroach crawling on some product in the store. Yes, I know its Houston, but what other grocery store has roaches at 12 in the afternoon crawling on the shelves??? I was so disgusted and I felt terrible that I was there to pick up a birthday cake. Staff isn't that great. It's almost like your bothering them by coming to this tiny good for nothing Kroger. I feel bad for the elderly that depend on this Kroger because we do not deserve such a disgusting place to shop and sadly they can get away with it as we are techinally in a food desert here.
