I set my bag in the cart and retrieve my glasses and phone (flashlight) to begin my search. An employee enters the isle pushing a cart, and talking loud, I just assumed someone else was behind me. The next thing I know, he's yelling at me to "put it back" I look behind me, and nobody was on that isle but the two of us. Then I'm thinking he's joking around, until he say I seen you put something in your bag, then demands that I give him my bag and follow him to the back? Wtf! So I start to hand him my bag, so he can see that I didn't. Then the alarm in my gut kicks in, I tells him NO! And I head toward the front to find a manager, before I get to the office, he starts yelling to the manager while pointing at me, saying that I had "4 bags" in my purse. The manager was shaking her head and walking away? The more I move toward her, the further she went. I'm like F this, I leave my cart and walk out. I stayed on the outside of the door in case the police was called. I seen the manager inside and asked her to come out to talk to me, but she stated the she wasn't allowed, because she was the only manager there. Wtf, just happened? I know I was embarrassed as hell! I had every customer in the store looking at me! I wasn't able to prove my innocents! I waited 45min for the police to show up, incase she called. And I didn't get the cat food! The store itself was ok. It's what you expect from Food Lion. My visit was on a weekday evening and the produce area was messy and low inventory. That's mainly what I came in for.
