When you ask them where they go and they say we have employee bathrooms and they work but the people that are spending their money keeping their business open and keeping their jobs they don't want to have to clean them!! Probably not. Anyway, the store was tidy and organized for the most part. It was a bit dirty in areas though. The staff was somewhat friendly. I was able to find what I needed & make my way to the checkout. It was fast and efficient. I will go back for sure.

They gave a Chester's chicken restaurant inside & though the honey biscuits are my FAVE, I passed on them today. Trying to watch the waistline. LOL. Anyway, the parking lot was pretty clean. No overflowing trash or trash on the ground. There were plenty of pumps & the cost of gas was not out of the average for the area. I'd definitely recommend this location. It is very close to 295 & not that far from 95.

I gave 4 stars for several reasons with customer service being #1. Location is #2 and finally it's the best store in this part of Hopewell. Sure they lack in selection and are a bit pricey, but they beat Save A Lot hands down and it doesn't require a long drive elsewhere. Well done!

I went to Randolph Market today to purchase a box of tomatoes at $40 per box. I opened the box to…read moresee if there were any bruised or soft tomatoes. As I found them, I began swapping the bruised soft tomatoes with tomatoes from another box. As I was doing this, I suppose it was the produce man that came at me and in a rather loud voice and said, "Ma'am, what are you doing!?" He startled me walking up on me very rapidly with a loud volume. He did not even introduce himself. He spoke to me as though I was in a corner stuffing tomatoes in my pockets(stealing). I told him I was going to can the tomatoes and they needed to be firm with no spots or bruising. He began chiding me as though I was a child and told me "You cannot build your own box!" "I stood and watched you". Then why ask what I was doing if you watched me the whole time? Now he's playing games with me. He argued with me for a few minutes so I told him I would leave. I put the top back on the box of tomatoes and put the box back where I got it from. As I was leaving, he was walking beside me still arguing with me until I got to the door. At this point, this is harassment. He caused a scene and people were staring at us. The scene was unnecessary and could have been avoided. He told me there were no rotten tomatoes. So why if all the tomatoes are all so good, would it matter if I was swapping one for another? The man was very unprofessional and rather intimidating. If I am going to pay $40 for a box of tomatoes, I certainly want all of the tomatoes to be the best possible for canning them. It's not really what one says when handling a situation, it is how they say it and the tone that they use when saying it. I will never step foot in Randolph Market again if that is the way they deal with their customers. They need to train their employees on good customer service. Especially with men running up on women in such an unprofessional and intimidating manner. Let me give Randolph market a free lesson on good customer service. The employee approaches the woman swapping tomatoes. He says calmly and reasonable, "Excuse me ma'am. My name is ...... I work here in the ....... department. I have been watching you swap tomatoes between boxes. We call that building a box. Our store policy does not allow that. You can purchase a box of tomatoes as is. That would have been an acceptable way to handle the situation without causing a very unnecessary scene in a place of business.

People sit outside on the side walk and beg for money and then harass you when you say no and then wait for you to come out and ask again. When I left and got in my car a woman sitting on the sidewalk started putting on lotion and pulled her shirt all the way up and showed all her personals while putting on lotion or something. I stood at the checkout for about 7 minutes with 2 other customers who were all looking around in confusion for the cashier. I don't think she could hear us due to the loud hip hop music blasting from the front of the store. A young lady came up to the front and said my mom will be here in one minute and rudely mumbles (y'all can wait) as she walked back to the back of the store where her mom appeared to be stocking shelves. My suggestion is to turn off the crappy music, tell your kids to go home so you can work and pay attention to what you're doing. Thank you
