This place was absolutely phenomenal! It was warm, welcoming and inviting upon walking into the store. Easily accessible through the Main Street this place features ample amount of parking. The store is well stocked and inventory. Features many health food items, snacks, supplements and many other things that a health food store normally provide. They had a special going on as well so I got my items for a great price even though I'm not a member which is awesome of them. The cashier name Jocelyn was very friendly! I highly recommend checking out this store!

It seems like the people working in this store aren't very enthusiastic or eager to help. Last time I went there (within the past month) they were out of 3 things I specifically stopped there for (one of the was just organic ground beef - the cooler shelves were bare). Another of the things was in the skin care aisle, and there was an empty box where the item had sold out. I asked the employee if they happened to have any in back. She told me they didn't, so I asked if she knew when they might get their next delivery (this is actually a common question at Harvest Health and they usually know when the Red Rooster bread will come in, or the Hilhof milk or whatever. The manager happened to be walking by, so she stopped her and told her what I was looking for and if it should come in soon. She just kept walking as she said she didn't know. Later she was by the registers and just seemed really unfriendly as if she were bored being there. Much better experiences when I go to the Hudsonville location or stop at the health food store on S. Washington in Holland.

I wish all the in general, would sell meat from the meat market inside the store or fresh fish from the meat market or so fresh bread from the bakery, but they probably don't do this to save money, which I get. They are far cheaper than other big grocery stores in town with similar or better quality. They also have a large assortment of organic produce, at a great price. The store seems to get pretty busy at all hours of the day, but especially around 5 PM. This is true for any grocery store. The aisle can become a little crowded especially when employees are stocking the shelves with carts that take up half the aisle. When checking out, If there is a long line, the cashiers are quick to request other people to come man the cash registers which is nice. The cashiers are always quick and generally nice, but don't always greet me. Also, they usually ask if I found everything I was shopping for, but they don't always ask or if I do say I couldn't find something, they sometimes go get it off the rack for me if I'm checking out. However, sometimes when Tell them I couldn't find something, they say they don't sell it, even though it's a common item. This is my point in telling them, as perhaps they should or could take note. Since the store gets busy the floor is sometimes covered in blueberries that have been spilled over or other food items that have stained the floor. Overall, this is a small size grocery store, but it's packed full of great fines and good deals and nice employees.

I have been going to MeijerS for my entire life since I grew up with Michigan but had never been to…read morethis location as I don't believe it was built the last time I was in the Holland area. Actually, almost everything in the area was new since I was in Holland as a child and it was basically just the outlet mall with a hotel close by. I was very pleasantly pleased to see that they had all the ideas I was in search for while home visiting and that I wouldn't have to go to multiple locations. In FL it is Oscar Myer country and I dislike their bologna as I am a Eckrich girl all the way. You can also not get Stehouwer's Sizzlers in FL as it is a Michigan based company and I previously have looked into having them directly shipped down but with them needing dry ice, it's a fortune. Last but not least is Wyler's Mrs. Grass soup that suddenly all the Publix locations in the Tampa Bay area that I visit have stopped carrying. So annoying but I stock up on everything while I am at home, freezing the bologna and sizzlers and then bringing them back in a cooler on my flight as it's a quick direct flight back. Call me crazy but whatever... if in season, you can add Michigan Sweet Corn into my stash. When I first started doing this all the TSA people went through my bag and would just give me a funny look until I explained and then laugh at me. Oh well, this location was clean and very well stocked, which I greatly appreciated.
