Do you think you go unnoticed when you are following someone through the store? Do you think you aren't seen when you keep stepping closer and closer while I am trying to complete my purchase? You, as well as I, saw that my child was scanning one item at a time, learning how to properly scan the barcode, before passing the scanned item to their older sibling who was bagging the scanned items. However, to you, this instead looked like they were stealing as you came up to inform me that a pie had not be scanned. Yet, right there, at the very top of the screen, was the said pie. Your response? You thought it was bananas. But I digress. Where were the supposed bananas that were keyed in (4011) since that is how you have to do those, along with weighing them. You were standing close enough and staring hard enough to see that there were no bananas, that nothing needed to be weighed, and yet, you still had the audacity to come and accuse my child of trying to steal a pie. No, I did not need you to attempt to clarify anything as I have done your job, supervised your position. The last thing I want to do is teach any of my children to steal anything. The story you tried to clarify to me was that numerous items were being scanned at once. I'm not sure where you were looking, but one by one, those items were picked up from the shopping cart, scanned, and passed to the older sibling who bagged them, again, ONE by ONE. If y'all want to catch the people who are stealing, go back and look at your cameras to the time it was reported to you that an older white gentleman opened a pack of artificial sweetener packets, put them in his pocket, and placed the empty box back on the shelf before walking to the front to check out with his wife. Y'all said you would have to look at the cameras but then proceeded to do nothing. Or go back and check the cameras when it was reported to you that an older white gentleman who drove a small older pickup grabbed quite a few meats (steaks), shoved them under his jacket and proceeded to leave the store. One of your cart attendants said oh well. That's why y'all have insurance. No one was going to go after him, he said, as he watched him drive away. OR one of your employees stood near the endcap where there was a display of individually wrapped bath bombs. She proceeded to lay her vest and jacket over her arm, reach under her jacket, grab a bath bomb and put it in her vest pocket before heading out of the store. You all are so worried about people that you do not socialize with, go to the bar with, drink on Sunday's with, so worried that they are someone to worry about when the ones you need to be watching are the ones you like to BBQ with and go to church with. We are living in 2025. It is high time to quite being so judgmental of people who aren't like you. I know I am not the only person who goes through this. This happens to so many people everywhere. Just stop it already. I don't need my child thinking they are a problem when it's really you.

One thing worth noting is everything we got had a lot of meat They don't skimp! I will GLADLY pay $3.50 for a loaded down taco! Prices are clearly marked Here's a rundown of what we got: 1. Torta Cubana- filled with alllll the meats and it's A TON of food. Two hungry men could easily share one sandwich. 2. Steak Taco- the best street taco I've had in the Bham area so far. Lots of meat. Yellow corn tortillas, so fresh. Added my own onions/cilantro/hot sauce so I got as much as I like to have (which is a lot) 3. Steak Gorditas- tortilla pocket was perfect. Meat and cheese perfect. I will think of this every day this week and get this again and again forever. 4. Papusas (bean and cheese)- Also perfect. The tortilla was perfectly Mexican style and thin with a little crisp on the outside. How do they get them so thin without tearing? I dream of making papusas like this. Someone's abuela with 50 years of experience must pat these out cause that's the only explanation! They are beautiful! If you are wanting some authentic Mexican food, this is your solution. There's a buffet that looks incredible. I don't even know everything that was on it but it all looked homemade. The market has the best avocados I've seen anywhere and the assortment of dried chiles is impressive. Go for the restaurant, then do your grocery shopping after you eat. Prices are excellent. Everyone is friendly. I will probably go back this week

And really more speaking about two employees more than the store overall. When you go to the pharmacy, usually it's not the best thing in the world either you're in pain or something along those lines I get I may not have been answering the question to the best of my ability but to kind of get frustrated with me was kind of out of line.. but I will say Ethan makes up for it by always being exceptionally nice and pleasurable when I've had to speak with him. The other employee just really did not seem to know how to operate the customer service desk or answer questions that was being asked, which is very unusual as I feel that Publix has some of the best customer service, but unfortunately that was not today. Adding to that I feel like the bathrooms were really not up to public standard standards of cleanliness. The pictures is kind of don't do justice as it would not be someplace. I would run into use the restroom.

A lot of people have a hard time getting used to the way ALDI works; ALDI's model is based on German and European markets, where people tend to shop more often in smaller trips. So you aren't usually going to find produce that can be held over for lengthy amounts of time. That said, they are shopped enough that their produce is fresh and has a high turnover. Be sure to catch deals on seasonal produce, as they regularly have the best prices on watermelons in summer and pumpkins in fall. ALDI is great for trying new and "off-brand" products. They offer a wide range of specialty items including cheese and wine. I've found most to be better than average with much of it sourced in Europe. While they do offer name products, who doesn't love "generic" European wines and real milk chocolate at "chocolate flavored" prices? Be sure to bring a quarter in order to use a shopping cart. At checkout, you can purchase bags, use your own from home, or grab a box from a shelf or bin and recycle it later.

I grabbed a pack at the meat counter but it was marked at $2.99 so when I got to the check ouit I pointed that our to the register man. He picked up his pphone and checked with someone in the back that told him only certain packages were marked with that price. My wife took that package back to the meat counter and picked up a different package but it also was marked at $2.99. The register man said he would go back and find the rigt kind of package. He did so and came back with a differetn type of package that was marked at $1.99. I found him helpful but I believed this is a very sneaky way of doing business. If you advertise them at $1.99 than all packages with tohose contents that are on the counter should be at that price.

I know they have made some changes since it first opened, but it did feel sort of less cluttered. I say that because while the aisles felt wider, the produce less crammed, and a back corner reconfigured, I still have never mastered the art of shopping Trader Joe's. The placement of items seems so random to me, and unituitive. Why are there peanut butter cups and harissa above frozen vegetables? Why are cookies over nearly everything frozen from dinner entrees to breakfasts? It can be a little frustrating for 'compartmental shoppers.' If you want fresh flowers, make sure you go early in the day for the best selection. And if you're going for flowers near the end of the week, be also forewarned that a number of church flower guilds use TJ to create and/or supplement their weekly arrangements because TJ gets some unique flowers in smaller bunches at decent prices.
