Then at the checkout line, there was an item that I thought was on BOGO, turned out it was the bigger size. The bagger stepped up and said don't worry, ma'am I'll get that for you. The cashier did not appear upset for my mistake and actually was quite pleasant. The bagger came back with the items with no trouble at all. I just moved here so this was a very pleasant experience.

They typically charge about a dollar per item more than Walmart. But yesterday, I only picked up 3 items, and the price I paid was nearly $5 more than Walmart prices. The same three items at Walmart would have been $12.59 vs. $17.27 at Publix. Geez!!!! The only way to get a reasonable price on anything at Publix is with their BOGOs, but even that is not enough to make up for their price gouging on regularly priced products. Publix is only for the very rich people. Hurry up, Walmart!

I have a habit of cutting it the wrong way and basically making beef bubblegum! It was awesome to know that not only is he an excellent butcher, but he is an actual chef!!! Hats off to Publix for having the proper mindset to hire the most qualified talent to work in this venue! I only hope that all Publix markets have the same high standards. Another one using the entire 4-chair table - eating alone on phone, left -did not pick up after herself - Gentleman in front of her was sucking on a bucket of chicken, throwing bones on the table, clean sucking his fingers as he had no napkins, got up & left his mess. When friend & I were done lunch, we cleaned our area as well as we could, as there is no Wet ones or wet cleaning area to clean up after yourself. Total sitting area was not inviting, so who ever designed your new store area, was not thinking that Shopping was a pleasure, for families, singles or children to eat ,,,especially with all the viruses going around. I am a loyal Publix customer, but will stay on my side of the bridge to eat, shop & enjoy Publix.

Maybe it's because they are the "only close by" store in the area as Winn Dixie is slowly becoming an Aldis. This would be a sad precedence on their part as Aldis could be the primary shopping venue for most when in a pinch. Otherwise it's Walmart.

Publix store is clean, well-organized, with great prices, Buy One Get One Free (BOGOs), large spacious aisles, plenty of competent and friendly cashiers, lots of parking, great location, and best of Associates who go out of their way to help you, the customer. Customers get the best of best quality service and product. Very much a team effort from top to bottom. A great book called A Piece of the Pie: The Story of Customer Service at Publix explains what that premier service is and how the company's associates make it happen. Wide selection of bakery items, produce, goods, etc. I love getting the sushi there as it's always fresh and they do $5 sushi Wednesdays too. My favorite sushi is the crunchy roll! I l also love their pastries and my all time favorite is the guava cream cheese one. The store has a pharmacy too (I occasionally fill my medications and get my vaccines here) and a deli. I love Publix's fried chicken and subs! My favorite sub is the holiday one (it has bacon, cranberry sauce, turkey, etc.) and it's divine! The customer service is usually really great, happy, fast, attentive, and above and beyond. However, if you go in the evenings, the customer service can be a bit rude and inattentive. There were multiple instances, where I've went between the hours of 8-8:30pm and the employees definitely acted like they did not want to be there. One time, the cashier didn't even greet me and when I politely said "thank you" to him after he rang up my items and gave my receipt, he just proceeded to ignore me and talk to his other co-worker. I've noticed that at night, some of the employees like to hang around and gossip. Only reason I'm knocking off one star. If you go throughout the day though, everything is great! Plenty of parking available. It's located in a small shopping center. I love how conveniently close it is to our house, but I will say, prices are pricier than other grocery chains like Aldi or Walmart. I would say Publix prices are on par with Target. But they do BOGO deals often here.

I am never disappointed. I do miss the free fresh coffee they used to have at the entrance where the shopping carts are stored. Grocery end caps are well stocked, and I do noticed they all ready have next Days Add ready on Wednesday. Meats are in good shape I know they have the best quality but ,they do need to work on lower prices on meats , I know they have BOGOS : but still they can do better . With Meats And assistant manager and Store Manager are pretty much on sales floor most of the time . Love the pharmacy staff here , compared to Flager beach staff though.. Located in Fruit Cove, there's a good number of shops and restaurants nearby to knock out those errands or grab some good eats. One thing I've noticed is that the store stays impeccably clean, due to several staff members in the aisles stocking and cleaning throughout the day. The entrance, features, and endcaps highlight all of the weekly BOGO specials, a Publix staple. Not all locations have a dining area to gobble down that Chicken Tenders Sub, but this one does, an added convenience for those on a lunch break. The Deli stays busy, so its best to order ahead via the Publix App, especially when it comes to the Fried Chicken and Subs. The weekends? Football season? Good luck...take my advice, and order ahead. The Bakery is another favorite of mine, my weakness being their selection of seasonal pies, pastries, and cakes. The holidays never disappoint, everything is beautifully decorated and baked fresh daily. I picked up some scrumptious Apple Cider Cake Donuts today that I'll be going back for. From the management to the cashiers, I've never had a negative experience here. Everyone is outgoing and willing to help if I have any questions or can't find a particular item.
