THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!…read more Where do I begin?! The place itself is extremely clean, the staff is friendly, and there is a CAT! I was browsing the books and suddenly the fluffiest floof of a cat came wandering up. She was very friendly and sweet. Later we talked to an employee who said the cat is named Serena and is one of 40+ feral cats that they take care of. They got them all fixed and continue feeding them behind the store. If you donate $5+ towards feeding the kitties, you get a 20% off coupon! As for the shopping itself, I was impressed by the prices. I got a fabulous vintage suitcase for $5, and several books for under $5! Literally my only complaint was that they wrote the price of a vintage antique book ON THE COVER of said book. OOF. That hurt my soul.

Ready to go look for more items and different sizes. I was taking all the clothes with me. I give her the piece back she says will you be taking them with you. I say yes she goes on to say well let me count them. Now I know for sure this is not protocol. She counts all the pieces and I left them right there. I've worked in retail you don't count the pieces people are intending to buy. If you are going to have workers that are going to stereotype customers hire new people. Maybe around 230-300pm. I won't be back.

When I would peek inside of Sleepy's while at a stop light I would only notice beds and I wanted to go with someone of a bedroom set. As the name states, you have a great variety of unfinished furniture, much of which is made on site. Closets, desks, tables, chairs, etc. You name it, they probably have it. I almost went the route of picking up a few other items but in the interest of not spending a ton of money I decided to just shop for a bed and frame. They had a decent sized selection of beds and bed frames along with bedroom sets (dresser, nightstands, etc.). I know I wanted a king size memory foam mattress but wasn't interested in the tempurpedic prices you'd see at Brookstone. I suppose they sort of all felt the same to me so I found something comfortable and picked up a bed frame that had storage drawers. Yay for not having to buy a box spring. Both the bed and bed frame had to be ordered and they set the expectation that delivery would be six weeks and it arrived within three. I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind that what I wanted had to come from another site. One thing that I liked was that they were offering tax-free purchases when I bought everything. As always, it was good to support a local biz.
