Whatever you need, you'll quite likely find it in here. From birthdays, graduations, christenings - you name it, there's a card in one of the many aisles. Whilst some cost more than others, I felt I wasn't being put out as I'd find the same price or more in somewhere like Target. Gift wise, I thought it was pretty neat to see a range of Tervis insulated drinkware (I've got my eye on a few of the Virginia Tech/Hokies cups for my in-laws,) among plenty of other ideas such as jewelry, items for the house, and more. The customer service is on point in here; employees are more than happy to help. There's even chocolate available at the counter so that you can pick & mix your own box. Naturally, I came in for a card and left with a handful of chocolate covered pretzels.. oops. I'll come back for sure now I know it's here!

I specially came to this Hallmark in Hampton VA. Upon entering I immediately said Good morning to…read morethe employee. She never spoke back. I proceeded to the card section. While browsing cards, I overheard the door chine and another person came in. She automatically said good morning and asked if they needed help finding a card. The gentleman, older white guy told her he wanted a card for his wife. She directed him to that section. I'm in total disbelief. I got my 2 cards and went to counter. She did speak and asked if I found everything. Yes, I did but now I'm mad AND OFFENDED that she ACKNOWLEDGED the older white man but NEVER acknowledged me a young african lady. I gave her my Hallmark rewards member card and paid for my merchandise. She thanked me for shopping there. As I was leaving store I noticed Solar Flamingo outdoor wind chimes I asked about the cost. We made a quick conversation and another customer came in. She quickly said good morning to this older white woman. Wow, I didn't think in 2021 we WOULD still be going through bias.

They have some really cute stuff here and amazing prices obviously. The staff is very helpful also. They have great ornaments for the tree. The stocking stuffers are endless. They have so many different kinds of candy. Stuff I've never heard of. Flavors I've never seen. They even have some really cool and nostalgic candy for mom or grandma . They have toys and games and pet stuff too! I even found a little corner where they sell, sage bundles, and crystals. How cool is that?!!! I've been three times this month already. I know nothing about flowers, and sitting down with Erika put me at ease. She took my vision from what I found online, and made beautiful arrangements! She also was easy to work with and is such a joyful person! Everyone gave compliments on the flowers. She delivered them personally to our venue in Williamsburg, vases included. I recommend them for your wedding or event.

This time, the balloons were excellently inflated! The early April bouquet balloon is still floating strong! My boyfriend also continues to report that the gals at Pollard's are consistently friendly and helpful to him when he stops by! :) The flowers in both bouquets were fresh and lasted a very long time. They were both classy, and one reminded me of a wedding table arrangement. The other included perfectly tinted carnations. The Bromeliad he brought home is bold, bright, gorgeous, and with deep green leaves! It came in is a clean glossy white metal tin with a gold metal band trim top. An expansively sized bow was added - I appreciate that Pollard's chose the fire color since it complimented the bright red bromeliad. Normally I remove bows on plants after a couple days, but this one looks so nice that I've left it on. I haven't seen Bromeliads this huge and healthy anywhere before. With all the beautiful plants and positive reviews my boyfriend has been bringing me, I was curious and stopped in this last weekend. The gal who assisted me was the sweetest! I can't recall her name and feel badly about that, but she assisted me in picking out a bird's nest fern and showed me a clever watering trick for it and other plants! You'll have to go in yourself for that... I don't feel quite right giving away their secret here. ;) The bird's nest fern came with a choice of a natural looking basket out of three nice colors... I appreciated that it was lined and I didn't have to buy the basket separately. I checked other stores after buying it and confirmed that the price I paid for combination couldn't be beat anywhere in town! Pollards hasn't disappointed yet, and I like that their setting is a quaint location immediately off of the tree lined (Saunders) road with ample parking. I'm looking forward to the next holiday or other occasion where my boyfriend might pick up another surprise from Pollards or when I get an itch to stop in again myself. :D

I needed a birthday card and was in the area, so I swung by to check it out. Tons of options for cards, and so many cute gift ideas. It's also easy to get to with plenty of parking, so you don't have to park and walk forever in the mall to find a Hallmark store. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great little locally owned shop!

If you crave a type, color, shape, species, or phase of flower, I am almost certain that they will have it, or a very close alternative. I have them match flowers to the monthly gifts I give my wife, and they nail it every time. The second reason is their exceptional communication. They reach out to me about my monthly purchase and give feedback on it's expected arrival and composition. It makes me feel like they are putting the care I hope into my expression of love. The third reason is their flexibility. I've gone into their shop needing an arrangement in an hour, and they put their best effort in as if I'd made plans for the purchase a week in advance. They never make me feel like I have to just take whatever is "in the fridge", like other flower shops do. I hated going into small shops and trying to explain to an teenager behind the counter about a specialty arrangement I'd like made when they might only know about roses and carnations. The fourth and final reason is their pricing. I am astounded at what they provide for the prices they charge. Their arrangements are fresh, exotic, and vivid, and they still beat those sad little bouquets you see at grocery stores. I have a standing account with Jeff's now as my exclusive florist, and I wouldn't have it any other way. If you are considering getting flowers for any event or purpose, large or small, I assure you this is the best option there is.
