This an old run down store that sells typical toxic food, (a lot which was expired), very poor quality produce and terrible customer service. It's not even clean but requests all its guests to wear masks. Everything is absurdly overpriced; there isn't even a vegetarian section in the freezer. There is, however, a very small section of local craft beers in the freezer. I received more assistance from a customer than the staff. There was someone who was off chatting with a cashier. The cashier just laughed as the person began her verbal assault on a customer referring to her in many different vulgar ways which is unacceptable for a human being. My cashier, on the other hand, kept her back turned to me until she finished her text message, didn't greet me, didn't speak at all and threw the receipt at me after I said I didn't need one. I do not recommend and do not see myself coming back unless it's for Steel Hands ($8.99/6 pack).

Tons of holiday merchandise for the Christmas season was already out in November, and the store has a section called Dollar Tree Plus that has items for $3 and $5. Most items are now $1.25. The candy and snack food selection is plentiful, and they have Big Chewy Nerds candy. That's one of my favorites for staying hyped up as a go-fer and chauffeur on the 2022 midterm election campaign trail. The store looks like it needs a good cleaning, and some items were out of place in the aisles. However, the cashiers were welcoming, which earns the store 4 stars. It means a lot when the workers ask if you found everything okay and try to make conversation.

Lots of parking, free grocery carts, food & produce are always fresh! Large aisles, clean and I never have to ask nor search around the store. I always go in the morning while others are at work, so peaceful and people not running all over me. Ive never had any issues with customer service. Yes, you may have to wait a few minutes to check out. Yes, you just may have to check your self out. And YES, Walmart is worse with wait times and rude employees daily thru out the entire store. I have reported the deli, vision, and the auto dept for nonsense. I go in Walmart for a last ditch only. I decided to decrease my stress dealing with Walmart, by patronizing other grocery stores for a better experience. So yeah I will continue to shop here and save a few coins. the staff at the Aldi in Lexington on Sunset has progressively cared less and less about the way…read morethey interact with customers, but today was by far the worst I've experienced in 6 years and has made me consider doing all of my weekly shopping at another location from now on. every SINGLE one of the staff working today was complete inconsiderate to the few of us shopping. they blocked the aisles stocking not just ONE side of the aisle but both and made no effort to help us figure out how to get around them. one left a pile of boxes in the middle of the row and then walked by me completely as I struggled to move them to get my cart around them. i was cut off THREE TIMES by a staff member that ran in front of me to grab an item off the shelf, and then at the one checkout that was open, they had a pallet stacked well overhead that was blocking HALF of the entrance to the lane itself! when I told the lady at the checkout that she needs to move that so people can get around as I just knocked off gum on the other side of the shelf, she shrugged her shoulders and smirked. to see i am appalled is an understatement

Aldi is one of those stores that will have your buggy filled when your list only calls for 6 items:) Yes, I had a small list for a recipe and ended up with 44 items!! Insane right?! That goes to say, there are some many great deals, with an amazing range of different items such as fresh produce, meats, unique finds and even household items. Really great place to shop without breaking the bank! I definitely recommend them for your shopping needs. They also have the best prices, even cheaper than Walmart. The service is good and lines are usually short, except during holidays. However, they have self checkouts as well to keep the lines moving. If you haven't been to Aldi's you should go. Don't forget to bring a quarter though. You will need one to get a shopping cart. When you bring the cart back, you'll get your quarter back.
