As Walmarts go, this is a nice one and I'm wondering how old it is. It's located in Batesburg and Leesville in South Carolina. The inside was quite spacious. I visited this Walmart two days in a row (one of them being Christmas Eve) and I was amazed at how few people were here. Maybe if you lived in one of these small towns you would consider it crowded. The produce looked and tasted fresh. The meat I purchased was excellent. I also bought some last minute stocking stuffers that caught my eye. The employees were all friendly and helpful. My husabnd retired last year and started doing the shopping. Self checkout has long lines, there is 1 register open and the light is off and they are hiding behind the register as if they are closed. My husband bought produce and was in self check out, the person there had to assist him with tomatoes (he nevr did this before) she goes quickly through the process then he has peppers, he calls her over again. This time he made her slow down to show him. Then he swiped his card and there was an issue with the reader. He called her ovr again (mind you she is on her phone playing on Facebook) and she literally rolled her eyes and gave a huge sigh. I would give the staff (except pharmacy) a huge 0 rating as they are rude, lazy and unprofessional. read more

Not Walmart's fault. I was in store near where the butter is. Some idiot let their "service" dog take a dump right in the middle of the isle. Only saw one person with a dog in store. There dog did not have a "service" vest on, of course they denied their dog did it. read more

I recently switched from cvs pharmacy after many years , the savings are incredible(HUGE) and the pharmacy staff is the best . The whole staff has been a pleasure to deal with in every dept.. Thanks Walmart !!!!! read more

The woman in electronics is rude as hell. She was on her phone talking loudly and gave us attitude when we needed assistance. She job told us the game we wanted was out of stock, which is fine but she was rude about it like we were wasting her precious time. But yet she has time to talk on her phone at work. Our cashier, Katelin was kinda of not friendly as well. We wanted to load money on a prepaid card and she acted like it was a hassle. So I guess being dismissive and rude is a common quality at this Walmart. Heck Batesburg-Leesville is filled with these rude workers. Must be something in the water. read more

This is probably the worst Walmart I have even step foot inside. Everyday there is not a single item fully restocked and sometimes there is almost nothing in the store. Do not come here. read more

My first time at this Walmart. Decided to stop as passing through the town. I was assisted by one of the worst Walmart employee ever. Janice who was working behind the customer service desk was rude and disrespectful. I witnessed her talk harshly to an elderly woman to the point that I did not even want her to help me. If a person does not have the skills required to deal with customers then they should seek other employment. read more

This rating is for the pharmacy staff at Walmart in Batesburg-Leesville. They are fantastic, helpful, thoughtful, concerned and kind!! My husband had surgery and there was an issue with one of his medications and it was Friday afternoon. Tammy called the insurance company and stayed on the phone forever (seemed like) until issue was resolved. I felt like the pharmacy team jumped into action to take care of us!! Tammy was not going to let my husband enter the weekend without his much needed medication. It never fails that there is a problem with my hubby's prescriptions, but the pharmacist, Bonnie and McKayla, go above and beyond to get the problems rectified. The other staff is amazing also! Stanquilla and Dessine always greet us with a warm smile and are so sweet! Ms Donna is new to the team, and is also very helpful! BIG THANK YOU to the pharmacy staff for taking care of us like we are family!! read more

So, again today after my purchase and arriving home I discovered that I was missing my 9 Volt batteries and Toothpaste, double check everywhere. This has happened multiple times when going through the checkout with a human being. The entire transaction the lady running the register was more worried about two other employees standing across from the registered than us she's checking out. I'm honestly to the point of never shopping here again. I've already written off ever shopping at the one on Sunset Blvd., guess this one is next. read more

9/5/2019 Today, 9/5, during one of my weekly visits to Walmart when I was ready to check out, I went to the check to see which register was open. Not one register sign was light was lit up! Only the self check outs were open and customer service. I went to customer svc line. When the customer ahead of me was finished, I moved forward and started laying my purchases onto the counter. The sales person said: "Whoa, what are you doing?" I said: "No registers are open, and your sign said customer service." With a tone she said: "Well, you need to let me know something, you just putting stuff up here." Her and her associates behind the counter began to laugh. To which I replied: "That's usually where you put stuff right?" Being quite angry at this time, and not wanting to cause a scene, I asked where is your supervisor? She said I don't know. I paid for my purchases. 2 other employees I encountered on the way out that I asked for a supervisor, stated the same thing. One said, "they" probably in the back, I haven't seen one since I got here." So I left. I enjoy going to Walmart and this is a rare time that I have encountered Customer SVC this bad. My experience so far has been pretty bad. I haven't shopped at walmart in years and decided to go in and look around. I went to try out a few articles of clothing in the dressing room. Couldn't do that because the lady at the dressing room was on a lunch break. When she came back she was still on a lunch break so she couldn't help me, so she called for someone else to help me. We both waited for almost 10 minutes. She paged for someone again and I waited again for another 10 minutes. She then went around the store looking for someone to help me. She couldn't find anybody, so she herself got the key and let me in to the dressing room. When I had tried the clothes on and didn't want some of the clothes I went to put them on the rack. The employee then told me I could not hang them on the rack, and that I was supposed to put the clothes back out on the floor. Walmart is ridiculous. I've never been into a store where you had to do that. Walmart has gone down hill. read more
