Prior to the shift, the store was clean, well-stocked, and the perfect place for my morning stop. However, in the past few weeks, it has gone downhill considerably. I have stopped several times to find they were out of cups for the fountain machine, or long lines that I simply did not have time to wait in. I can forgive this, but it has been constant. Today, for example, I stopped in for a drink and a breakfast bar to find no ice in the machine. I was disappointed, but opted for a bottled drink instead. I made it to the front of the line after waiting for 5-7 minutes, only to find that the credit and debit machines were down. This visit was the last straw for me. They wasted my time for the last time today. On a side note - I don't typically order from the grill, but I saw a rather large cockroach run behind the counter during a previous visit. Gross. 2 stars, ONLY because gas is priced reasonably (not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, and on my route to work)

From the outside you would have no idea they have a full service kitchen offering quite an array of southern style food and general convenience store selection. They're famous for their hot dogs and with good reason. Go for a slaw dog if that's what you like, but if not just throw some chili on it and enjoy one of those unique pink dogs that make em world famous at the Village Store. They also have some new things like chicken on a stick that offers a surprising combination of tastes to enjoy. Their biscuits are made from scratch daily so go enjoy one of their breakfast items too. If all you want is cold beer then they've got quite the selection in their walk-in beer cave. With some of the cheapest gas prices in the area, the Village Store is definitely a one-stop-shop that you shouldnt pass by.

This an old run down store that sells typical toxic food, (a lot which was expired), very poor quality produce and terrible customer service. It's not even clean but requests all its guests to wear masks. Everything is absurdly overpriced; there isn't even a vegetarian section in the freezer. There is, however, a very small section of local craft beers in the freezer. I received more assistance from a customer than the staff. There was someone who was off chatting with a cashier. The cashier just laughed as the person began her verbal assault on a customer referring to her in many different vulgar ways which is unacceptable for a human being. My cashier, on the other hand, kept her back turned to me until she finished her text message, didn't greet me, didn't speak at all and threw the receipt at me after I said I didn't need one. I do not recommend and do not see myself coming back unless it's for Steel Hands ($8.99/6 pack).

You probably have to ask for it. 2. They don't automatically include napkins or cutlery. Keep this in mind if you're going to a park or something with your meal. 3. The bread is put in with the fish in the container, so it'll get soggy by the time you get home or other destination. They don't put the bread in a separate baggie like Palmetto Seafood. North Main offers fresh fish at prices better than a supermarket. If you get fresh fish, they'll clean it and can cook it for you also. It isn't Clifton, but it's certainly worth your visit.

As a thank-you gift for purchasing more than one surprise bag, the eatery provided a 15% discount coupon for our next in-store or online purchase. My family was so pleased with the taste and presentation of the food from our initial visit that we decided to patronize this eatery gem a second time on 6/28/2025. Called in the order and spoke with Ted. Ted's phone decorum welcomed me mentally and physically into the establishment. He assisted with entering the order and even suggested alternative options. The discount coupon, food portion sizes, inviting store atmosphere, and Ted make the trip from the Northeast worth the drive. Most definitely, we will be returning with and without Too Good to Go purchases.

So I decided to see what my local Indian stores have items I need. Indian Grocery was easy to find right off the interstate, great parking. The store was not overcrowded, grocery carts at the entry way. All the staff was really helpful. I had a list of spices and hair items needed for some DIYs for my myself. They do have quite a bit of produce that is more fresher than the local grocery stores. What I really liked its that it was only a few people in the store. So I had plenty of time to look and not have folks walking all over me. I did see some clothing items, jewelry, dishes, and a host of other items. Check was super easy, they take all forms of payments. I bought soap, toothpaste & henna at this one. I will be using them for future purchases for sure.
