The owner is wonderful, very kind and knowledgeable, and the store itself is clean and ordered and incredibly pleasant to walk around. Her feta cheese was phenomenal, and I grabbed quite a few other things that were all high quality while at very reasonable prices. If you're looking for some fun new foods, or for something from home, definitely stop by. I'll be making this a regular part of our grocery shopping for sure.

A few Filipino stores back home treat non-Filipinos a bit rudely, but it's not the case here. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out. The only thing that gave me a mini heart attack is how pricey the sweet chili sauce is. I wish she carried a smaller bottle, but I'll probably come back for it as soon as I run out of the Nagaraya adobo cracker nuts I impulsively bought. After about 8 different stops, I was recommended by another Asian market owner to try out this place. I went in, and the owners were super nice and helpful, AND they had the jackfruit, and knew EXACTLY where it was on the shelf. I really appreciated that and they of course, were pleasant when I was checking out, and welcomed me to come back to do business. I would definitely go back to this market for my Oriental/Asian needs! :)

Review- this store is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The produce is fresh and the prices are average. The meat looked fresh. They sell fresh corn tortillas and corn chips. I did not see the price of the corn tortillas but the fresh tortilla chips were $6 so i will just make my own and will not be trying these. I did not see any fresh salsa or guacamole, nor do they have a deli. They do sell fresh chicharrones. They sell fresh juices. The store has a small selection. They did not have fresh flour tortillas, but they do sell Guerrero Caseras, which are specifically the flour tortillas i was hoping to find and have not found at any other stores in the area. If you are hoping to find a supermercado similar to ones on the west coast, this is not one, however this one had the best produce and tortilla selection i have found in this area so far.

They also have a small pho area at the front with tables and seats, which is nice if you want to grab something to eat while you are there. Its not 5star restaurant service but they are nice. That being said, if you are used to the larger Asian markets in bigger cities, this one may feel a little limited. The quality can also be hit or miss, especially with holiday items. Their Lunar New Year section is pretty small, and I wish they had more mooncakes during the Mid Autumn Festival. But for Charleston, this is still the best option we have, and I am glad it is here!
