This Publix truly represents the early stages of grocery stores and their customer service is just top notch. The meat counter was extremely kind and helpful in finding very specific ingredients and the staff at the front was even better. Someone unloaded my cart, I was greeted by the cashier. We had a full and friendly conversation while my groceries were bagged in a appropriate manner. All of the lanes were also open which was so nice I was in and out in no time! It boasts a pharmacy, fresh baked muffin area, video store, tobacco shop and well stocked wine area. It's never very crowded and the shelves are arraigned in neat rows of product. It I was just grading the shopping experience, then this place would earn five solid stars. But there's more to a store than experience... the quality of the produce was below average on certain speciality items (such as avocados). The avocados on multiple occasions were well past ripe, in fact many of them were so rotten I was shocked they remained on display. If that would've been a one time occurrence, I would let it slide, but it has happened multiple times. Although I'm not sure, the prices seem slightly higher than Kroger down the street. Additionally the fried chicken in the deli section was bland and tasteless. You can certainly do better going down the road for the cooked items (may I recommend Publix for those items). Overall I really like shopping here.

They wanted $7.49 for chicken breast, $7-8 a lb 80/20 ground chuck, steaks were $22 and up. Kroger whole chicken- $1.25 a lb!! I got 4!! Legs $2.25, breasts $2.69 vs $7.49!!! No brainer. Don't even need the sales to save 40% over Publix next door or anywhere. A must go to place for me . As a chef who shops regularly, I make money by shopping here !!! Trust me

Wether it's for one of their Bistro Meal lunches , or wether I'm about to cook a really nice dinner for guest they have always had exactly what I needed, and sometimes stuff I didn't even know I needed. Employees are friendly and helpful. The bistro food is delicious (though they changed the recipe in their crab salad and it's not the great at the moment). They always have great little deals! I now go there for most things I need around the kitchen, and even stop by there for work lunch. It's an amazing place and I hope it doesn't go anywhere (I do hope it opens new locations!)
