iv worked at many of the food lions on the shore including this one and the only thing going for…read morethem is the food and occasional nice conversation with a couple of employees. all of the food lions i worked at had workers stealing from the deli on the daily or cussing out other workers in the back or in my case personally i had a manager named larry threatening me because i was disabled and he didnt want a disabled worker. was definately worth a lawsuit according to a few people but i let it go because what will we have in exmore if a lawsuit shuts them down. iv seen them waste so much good food in the delis that they should get a fine. and the managers where all very disrespectful in a way that they dont have any appropriate way to talk to their workers in any situation more stressful than asking how their day is. i complained one time about being accused of theft for something i just paid for at the register by a manager and the casheir that checked me out was the one i paid for the item with and they pretended they didnt see it paid for 5 min ago and they had a full blown conversation with me during the purchase thank god i had the reciept and the person i complained to was a friend and he worked there too and he said he had no interest in getting involved and after that his entire attitude towards me and my wife shifted in the store when i would greet him like he is scared of losing his job over being friendly or understanding with my scenario.they also just so happen to lie about the sales i watched them raise the prices of items a week before a sale then mark them on a discount at their normal price to maintain a false image of savings. i only shop here because i have no choice but to shop local at their store but if i have the chance to go somewhere else i take it every time i suggest you do too so they may get the picture with lack of customers to make a serious change

Also, the restroom wasn't very clean. The cashier was nice, though. She was definitely closed and ready to go, but she saw we only had a few items and took us anyway. They did have a few clearance racks, but some items were labeled, and some weren't, so you had to check at the register for the price. It wasn't necessarily that it was a misplaced item. But just that some weren't labeled. I'm glad we were just passing through. I'd be bummed to have this as my local Walmart.
