We were near Destin on a road trip and we kind of have a…read moretraditional to play Yahtzee in the car but having to tote the Yahtzee box around can be a bother and plus it takes up space in you luggage. Yes, I know we can just put the contents into a plastic bag and carry it that way but we forgot the contents all together this time so we were feverishly searching for a place that was still open a little late in the evening that might have our game. We struck out at Walgreen's, which is shocking since we thought all Walgreen's were open 24 hours. Target was another miss. Walmart was too far. Then, out of the corner of our eye we saw the Dollar General in the dimly lit parking lot. The lights were still on, so we decided to take a change. If we didn't find it here, we'd be stuck playing cards. The lady at the front cash register pointed us in the right direction and we headed down the aisles. Three pairs of eyes searched and scanned the shelves and hooks in the limited selection of toys and games to see if the game was present. Sweat was beading up, hearts were pounding, profanities were exchanged and then.........my friend yelled Yahtzee!!! Not just any Yahtzee, but Travel Yahtzee that came in a convenient plastic barrel. What a score! So, basically thanks Dollar General for being a savior for our night and road trip and thanks to the gal that ran the register for being so friendly.

The store was super clean and the employees were friendly. They greeted us when we walked in and told us right away if we need help trying to find anything to just ask. Shout out to Chief who works there. He was so nice and made our shopping experience in his store enjoyable.
