John went in right after her to help us out with an exchange and an order for two items from two different stores. Today and I'm horribly embarrassed I didn't get our third sales professional's name, I walked in seeking the items that would have been delivered yesterday to find them at the store and we were able to right size everything my husband needed for a wedding next weekend. Von Maur is exceptional. Three different sales touch points all with exceptional service and optimal consistent experiences. That RARELY happens, if ever. Today, upon our repurchase, our sales professional said he was going to process us and ensure John got the credit. Integrity at its finest. I love the store experience. Let's start with the cons so we can end on a high note, shall we? 1) The bathroom was horrendous. I don't do public restrooms unless I absolutely have to and this one was not good at all. 2) I get that the holiday season has arrived so people are out and about, but it was so congested it was uncomfortable. As in, the aisles were so tight, tons of stuff placed in the walkways, things like that. I even heard another customer say "this is giving me anxiety," and goodness I felt that in my core. I'm sure you have a lot of crap to put on the floors, but give us some space to walk, please. Thank you. Now for the positives... 1) While the checkout line was a mile long, they got through it quickly! 2) The dressing rooms were clean and they had plenty available. 3) While prices have gone up everywhere on the planet, it's still really affordable. 4) The people working there were really nice.
