2 days ago I went to TJ maxx for some comfort clothes. As I checked out, Carolyn asked me if I wanted a TJX card. In one of my more dramatically emotional moments, I froze. When she asked if I was ok, my eyes welled up with tears- NOT ok... the guy I thought was my "person" suddenly broke up with me just hours before. Everyone ooh's and aah's over the large selection of clothes! I agree, they have a lots and I was impressed, great prices/brands and I even found some by Rachael Zoe. What I mainly come here for is pet items. This place is better stocked than some pet stores. Today, I found a serta orthopedic dog bed for 62.00 that zi could not live without... These usually cost 89-125 (or more) so I got it for my 13 yr old doggie. They have toys, beds, bowls, clothing, leashes, treats. Etc. And this particular TJ. Maxx always has more than other ones Another thing I like to shop here for is food items. They have some great seasonal candies. As far as service. The wait in line at TJ Maxx is always torturous. They put you jn a queue lined with misc things that you would never need but out of boredom you end up thinking you absolutely need that phone case or bag of chips etc. smart marketing. Lol. Start with the positive - it was Sunday afternoon and the weather was really mild all things considered in mid-November. The store was PACKED. All cashiers were operating and while the line was SO LONG the staff knocked out a ton of transactions with professionalism and efficiency. Areas of opportunity: I get TJMaxx is an experience and one needs to just go with it but this store was awfully dirty. You cannot find anything and there is no rhyme or reason. Just a complete chaotic mess. While in line there was a stand of perfumes and colognes some bottles that didn't have tops. WTH. I don't mind treating it like a scavenger hunt but come on with the disarray all over the entire store. Not cool. Admittedly, I cannot do TJMaxx and was quickly reminded when I tried really hard on Sunday. Good news is I did get what I wanted and my consultation was the price which is why I walked in to give it a try. No more just not my thing but happy for those who don't mind the opportunities. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life at the Polaris location. The manager Jen was extremely rude to me, even trying to ignore me as I was speaking to her. It was 20 minutes till closing and as you can see by the picture, I had several pairs of jeans which needed to be tried on, so I ran to the restroom first as I came out the store lights had been turned almost all the way off, I came upon Associate in the shoe department and I ask if I could try on the clothes real fast. She said there wasn't anyone that could watch the dressing room for me to do so. But there were two associates at the front counter chatting with no customers so I went back and asked if she could have one of them assist me, and it was a flat out rude NO, followed by just buy them all and if they don't fit, you can return them??? We all know we have to try on jeans and who would want to make a large purchase only to turn around and have to drive 20 minutes back to the store to return them all when you're already there and could illuminate the huge inconvenience. And of course, I was very kind and respectful, but I was almost begging. Also explaining to her I had had a joint replaced in my foot and was having a hard time getting around, but she was very adamant about making sure all the shoes were straight. This was very hurtful to me and all the way home I kept thinking why would someone be so mean? This made me feel like he were calling me at Steve because there's no one to watch the dressing room. And then I started thinking how much money the store could've made if someone was to take 15 minutes out of their shoe straightening to be a kind individual? My day at this happened a month ago and I'm still greatly hurt about it. On my way out of the store. I kindly inform them that I was on the yelp elite squad and they would be reviewed. And believe it or not, they didn't care! Wow!!!! This explains they are terrible reviews. I think corporate might want to revisit their hiring decisions as I'm sure it's hurting profit. read more

I've been to my fair share of TJ Maxx locations (from Ohio, to Chicago, and even on the west coast) and this is the one I go back to the most. While the constant hustle and bustle around Easton drives me insane, I'll still throw this stop on my errands list, especially when Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are on there too. Things to note: I always find a parking spot, the dressing rooms and restrooms are always clean, the staff here is super friendly, and the check-out line goes quickly, even when it wraps around the store. The pricing is also comparable to their other locations and their sister stores like Marshalls and Home Goods. Most recently I've purchased a new pair of shoes, a really cute nightstand, a coffee mug, and face wipes. The variety here is legit, although I can say that I don't find as many clothing items as I used to. However, I did get this comfy house sweater and I'm obsessed with it. Wearing it as I type this review. $19, it was a total steal. read more

This is the 3rd and final time I will go into this store. In spite of what others have experienced, I have never made it through checkout without abandoning my potential purchases. Each time there have been at least four or five customers in front of me while someone at the register is explaining how to save 10% on purchases by getting them to fill out a credit card form. 2 of the three times it is the same woman who is completely oblivious to the people waiting. In my defense the woman in front of me turned and said "good for you, this is ridiculous!" And I agree. If you do not have enough help to wait on customers in a long line, why decide that this is the perfect time to take ten extra minutes to walk someone through a credit card application. read more

Sweetie needed some interview stuff, and found what she needed here. I can't speak much to that area, though we walked through and there are lots of clothes, men's, women's, and children's. Baby K and I played and read books. They had an area of kids' books up front, and a bench nearby, so we sat and read. Also walked around and found "dresses" for dada, because apparently I need new shirts. A good experience for everybody. We've been here before, I think, for stuff for me, and we found what we needed at reasonable prices. Great service, decent prices, good selection. The checkout line can move slowly since people buy so much, and they need to open more registers sometimes. read more

As most of my reviews state, I have a shopping problem. TJ Maxx's are usually solid, and this one is no exception. They have a great selection of clothes, shoes, make up (which seems to be growing at all locations), shower and other beauty products, and pet supplies. Very organized for the most part. I walked it and there was no chaos. (I went to over 7 stores and this one was so orderly and not as stress-filled) I was looking for a coat to withstand Canadian winters and found nothing I liked. I had the best experience here! There was a woman greeting customers and offering mask. I personally saw her interact with two moms, with children. She didn't have to but she did. Super refreshing. Second to that, they had a huge selection from new items, to an awesome amount of clearance. Not to mention, they were short staffed. However, it felt as if they were double staffed. So many of their staff was moving around. From reorganizing to helping customers find their way. Great store, and even better staff. read more

I am a fan of TJ Maxx and have visited several locations. This one is clean and organized. I can find a quality product at a reasonable price. I find good deals on shoes and occasionally, clothing. I can generally find a parking spot close to the store entrance and overall, the facility is clean even down to the dressing rooms. The associates have always been friendly and offered help when needed. You can find home goods, clothing, shoes, cosmetics, and many other accessories. Even at the checkout line, you can buy snacks. read more

TJ Maxx has been "one of THOSE" stores I kept thinking I would never explore. But time and again while at the Easton Shopping complex I kept seeing it after visiting Dick's Sporting Goods or DSW Warehouse. So recently I went in to do what a single guys has to do: purchase socks. What did I come out with the first time? Three bundles of dress socks (Nautica and Gold Toe) along with a golf shirt (Greg Norman brand) and t-shirt (hipster looking; don't laugh too hard). And spent under $50. I went back again. This time I came three golf shirts, two Cuba Vera and one Greg Norman brand, along with a pair of summer shorts (Rags). And spent under $60. Folks, I shouldn't be preaching to the choir when I say that for all the hectic, semi-deshevelness look of TJ Maxx on the inside... and yes it is truly a discount palace.... you can absolutely walk away with some really great brands at exceptional prices. I'm shocked and somewhat embarrased that I haven't been paying attention to the mantra of TJ Maxx... great brands at great prices. The check out area has been, so far based on my two visits, excellent. They use the system of LED lit cashier stations and when one is finished you hear, "Cashier 3 is ready". So things have moved very smoothly for me. FInally, I get it. Last year's make and model aren't flying off high-end retail store floors and TJ Maxx is there to grab the remnants. I love it! I understand that because this is a discount store, you're taking your chances... but when a customer purchases items that end up being defective, your responsibility is to make it right. My wife purchased two bras that both broke after she took them out of the package. I returned them for a refund, and was told by both checkout clerk Timothy and store manager Anita Najman that store policy would not permit a refund. Sure, I understand that they can't resell undergarments, but when an item is broken, you can't resell it anyway. Is it really worth losing a customer for life and incurring negative social media reviews to refuse a $15 refund? If you choose to shop here, just keep in mind that store policy is more important than keeping you as a customer. You simply don't matter at TJ Maxx. They did offer to let us keep the broken bras, though... nice touch. read more

I just wanted to share my shopping experience. It was good all the way to check out once I checked out the lady told her coworker she did not want to give the customers too many bags so she put all my stuff in a clear thin plastic garbage bag ,wow! Felt as if I was leaving a thrift store told the employee to put a regular bag in my bag just in case I returned an items . I get home grab my thin bag the wrong way and everything falls out due to the thin bag ripping apart on the nice dirty ground. Reasonable prices and fairly quick service. The store itself is a bit disorganized, but you'll usually find what you're looking for in the correct general area. It's nothing spectacular, but I won't ever say no to good-quality products (that I need) at reduced prices. read more

I am usually a huge TJ Maxx fan but i have been to this once a few times and was very disappointed every time. Their clothes are very ugly with not much of a variety to choose from and their shoe section is definately under par. the employees here are rude and treat everyone as if they are going to shoplift. Not a very clean store either.. Over the past 4 times i have been here i have only found one shirt and a pair of shorts worth buying which is very pathetic considering my shoipping addiction. Loss of a customer due to a team member's slack of attention and customer service. She kept on talking about her personal life with another associate who only bought $10 worth of jewelry and didn't even acknowledge us being there for about 20 min. After she finally decided to finish up, she told us that she would be right back as if we had just arrived there. Told her we've been waiting for 20+ min and she just said she had to go take care of something else and could wait. Decided to leave and come back while browsing through some other items. 10-15+ min later, she was ringing up items at the main cashiers and left the jewelry section unattended. Looking for some nice new fashion but avoiding the mall? TJ Maxx is your place. I have been shopping for about 80% of my wardrobe here for at least 8 years now. I am always able to find something I love, and almost always at great prices. Recently I've found some New York & Co jeans for only $7 on clearance! Great for purses too, and even goodies for your pooch! You know, I think I'll be heading here tomorrow for another sweet buy! read more

TJMaxx is a mixed bag. The deals can sometimes be good, but most of the time I find items that I could find for the same price when they're on promotion at a department store. There's occasionally stuff from more recognizable brands like Calvin Klein - BUT it's the Calvin Klein stuff that's made for the off-price channel and therefore a different cut and slightly lower quality than what you'd buy at a full price department store. I've seen a total of one actual designer piece from a recognizable full price department store here (a DvF dress from Bergdorf's). I also hate how the salespeople treat you like you're trying to shoplift when you go to try things on. The dressing rooms always seemed a bit sketchy to me. read more

TJ Maxx is one of the only stores that I shop at consistently. Because of their combination of super cheap new cloths in a variety of styles it is actually the only store I like. I don't recall the last time I shopped at a normal store like those in malls. The normal discounts are great but the real money saver is the clearance section. At TJ Maxx the price is reduced more and more the longer the item is in the store. For some people this means that they only save a little. For those who have a style slightly different from the masses it means I can save a lot. On my most recent trip I walked out with 5 Tee shirts of varying styles (2 fashionable graphic, 1 striped v-neck, etc) for $26. On the trip before that I walked with 1 $45 tie, a Yankee candle for my sister, and a nice sweater for $19 total. I would venture to say that roughly 1/3rd of all the cloths I own I have purchased at TJ Maxx along with my wallet, toiletry bag, multiple Christmas presents for my nephew, 2 hats, and numerous other items. For those who are on a budget, this place is as good as it gets! read more

Due to a rude sales agents and long lines.....I returned three $50 gift cards I had purchased. Once the manager was informed that I was dissatisfied with the customer service from the agent/long wait in line... she refunded the money for the gift cards. The manager never apologized for the rude agents or my time wasted in the store. NOW I know why......poor manager=poor sales agent. read more
