They have a large stock and a lot of stuff, and even though wait times can sometimes be long, with the good old single cashier problem going on, it's a great little cheap outlet in The Woodlands, which has a very pretentious town name by the way, and is very pretentious, let's be honest. So DT is Barbi's fave chain for cheap stuff, maybe alongside 99C Only and Daiso, and it shows, especially at locations like this one. If it handed out organs to dying people, it'd be Donor Tree. Unfortunately it doesn't. And with all the money it generates, it totally could. Or at least pay your employees better so they're not so annoyed all the time.

Initially she put her nose in the air, but I was able to talk her into it. She was shocked at the variety of candy and snacks available. This, on the other hand, is one of the better Dollar Trees in the burbs, despite service being hit or miss. Barbi usually finds a ton of things she needs or wants here, and it really gets the job done. For this reason we give it a good star rating. Selection there is actually a lot of different items different items between one to $5 with a couple of random kind of high expensive items of electric cars for kids which I found really surprising but I'm sure was more to catch the eye than actually to sell. They have very few food goods here which I did not mind as I typically do not buy food from dollar stores. All items are now $1.25, but I still consider that a bargain. You can find so many things here that are way more expensive in other establishments: -Wrapping paper, gift bags and tissue paper -Greeting cards! -Party supplies: mylar balloons, napkins, paper table cloths -Kitchen items like measuring cups and spoons, cooking utensils -Hair accessories like elastic bands, headbands, hair clips, combs -Storage totes and trays -Stationery: paper, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, folders -Puzzles and coloring books Oh, there's so much more here. I've only listed some of the things that I regularly purchase here, but they've also got cleaning supplies, food (which I've never bought), seasonal decorations and craft items plus aisles of mugs, cups, plates, food storage containers, soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. Be ready to wait in the check-out line, though. Sometimes you'll hit them up when hardly anyone else is shopping and you're out in a flash. Other times you get behind a customer that has a shopping cart filled with about 100 items (which takes them, it seems, forever to scan). Usually only one check-out lane is open, even during very busy times. This is a clean store with lots of parking (it's in the old Randall's shopping center, so you know the parking lot is huge). Employees are efficient, although at times they can be a tad ambivalent. I'll live with that, though, since I'm not expecting top-notch customer service from this sort of discount store.
