I opened the package up to prepare them to smoke yesterday and I just couldn't cook them. They smelled so bad I had to throw them away. They past couple of times I have bought meat from HEB it has not been up to the usual HEB standards. What is going on with the quality of meat that HEB is selling? I drive over 25 miles one way to purchase meat from HEB. After the past few visits, I will be shopping for meat some where else.

COMPLAINT ON CASHIER BRITTNEY... A couple months ago I had…read moregone shopping and had noticed about an hour after leaving the store that I had misplaced my phone, I had gone back to every store I had been to starting from Ollie's and went to every store we went to after and still had no clue where my phone was. I had happened to have a quick conversation with the cashier that had checked me out, Brittney, and she had told me that she had no clue of any phone being turned in and had not seen one but if she did would contact me at the number I had left if my phone was found. At this point I had gone back to my house and got my iPad and logged into find my iPhone so I could track my phones last location and it popped up at Ollie's as it's last active location. I went back to Ollie's with the iPad and started pinging my phone which lead me to your manager who had informed me that the cashier Brittney, whom I had spoken too the first time I came into the store, had the phone hidden along the side of her cash register. This does not only look bad on her for lying about the missing phone but on the stores overall integrity. My phone had been returned to me but I was not satisfied with the way it had been gone about. I was not aware of the cashier's name until I went back and had recognized her from this encounter before. Honest workers are better than sneaky ones.

THEN being stopped AGAIN at the door for someone to check my receipt.... Mind you several other people walked out of the store without having their receipts checked. Bags or no bags. Including my daughter with a handful of phone cases. Receipt in hand, but not checked. But I had to be checked several times. It is illegal for any store that does not require a membership (Costco/Sam's club) to mandate people show you their receipt upon leaving. There is however, "Shopkeepers privilege" that states if a store suspects you of stealing, they are able to search your bags and detain you as needed be. So. Walmart. When you ask me if you can check my receipt....I will say no. If you state that I am suspected of stealing, then, I will gladly show you the items in my cart and receipt. Please educate your employees of these rules so that when I tell them they cannot force me to show my receipt because the rule is to show receipts....they do not argue with me about it. The "food court" consists of an independent corn-dog/hamburger place and an ice cream shop. Other than that and a Bath & Bodyworks, the "Mall" portion of the complex is empty. Ok, I take that back, there is a place that does hair weave/nails. I posted numerous photos of the inside to Yelp, just so you can see. I'm actually kind of surprised there is nothing in the mall, given that Nacogdoches is a "college town", and albeit students are generally considered "cash poor", a large percentage of the money they do have is considered disposable income. Anyhow, Lufkin Mall in Lufkin (30 minutes south) is MUCH better. It actually has national brand stores (Aeropostale, Hot Topic, American Eagle).
