There prices are about the same as other florist in Carthage, usually I can say I've never been embarrassed by any arrangements I order from this florist, as I have been with by accident went through a different local florist and the basket I had ordered was about the size of a teapot, I didn't even know they made baskets for a graveside that small! It wasn't like I had ordered the cheapest size, as a matter of fact I had paid extra to get the larger size! Had it been any smaller they would have had to use a thimble . Guess you could call it a lesson well learned! With the Violet shop, they have always raised the bar, I don't think you could get better arrangements! Thank All of you, for going above and beyond what you had too , in order to please your customers! Job Well Done!

I'm from South Texas and could only guess on choosing the few flower businesses listed online in…read moreCarthage, TX. Made an online order for a sunflower bouquet. Received a call from the shop soon after regarding any possible changes to the bouquet and delivery since it was very close to a holiday and stock was limited based on my order. Due to the smooth transaction and great communication from the shop, the end result was an exceptionally happy woman with an exceptional flower bouquet. Big, Beautiful, Bright Sunflowers!! Many Thanks to, "The Violet Shop."

They couldn't even get the right color, when I got there to pick it up the lady attending us asked for the name the order was under and she didn't even bother to check for my name, just the color. As if she couldn't figure it out herself, then she called the owner to "confirm" or something and when she took the bouquet out she had it in a vase and looked almost nothing like the picture we showed. I asked for something smaller because it was literally just the flowers in a vase and as I mentioned before it was supposed to be handheld. She then offered to cut some parts off and wrap it, we agreed and hoped it would look better but she quite literally cut almost everything off and just left the roses, it was so small and the "wrap" she put on it looked like a raggedy table cloth that was ripped. I paid almost $100 for this bouquet and for what? I will be sure to let others know about the kind of business they offer.

My husband sent me flowers for Valentine's Day from Carthage flower shop. The arrangement was…read morebeautiful, however, the flowers were old, brown, and losing their petals. Rather than perky and vibrant, they were dull and drooping. I hated to complain about the state of the flowers because of course, it was a gift. However, they were so bad I had to let him know. Flowers are expensive, and he certainly did not expect to get old brown flowers. My husband tried several times to call Carthage flower shop, but no answer. I tried to call as well, also no answer. It wasn't the Valentine message my husband had hoped to convey. An epic fail for Carthage Flower Shop.

However, you are suppose to get the same flowers which are in the pictures online. I paid for a large arrangement of a bouquet. First, the flowers were delivered 4 days after the delivery date I chose which was after Mother's Day. When they delivered them, they were nothing like the picture. After I sent my mom the picture of what I ordered, she took the flowers back down to Rainbow Floral and showed them the picture. Their response was they don't get all the money from the 3rd party sites and if you want it to look like the picture, order straight from them. If you have a problem with that maybe you shouldn't contract with them but that's not my problem. I paid for what I saw online and expected the same flowers. They are definitely getting over with that and know they delivered some left over Mother's Day scraps. I didn't want a refund but at least you could have made the arrangement look better. I feel that was bad customer service.

He also guaranteed me that there would be the other 2 main flowers in the color that I ordered. Upon arrival, none of the 3 main flowers were in the bouquet. It was filled with mostly filler flowers of lesser value, and in a completely different vase than the one that was ordered. It looked decent, but was nothing like the bouquet I paid for. I did not appreciate being lied to you, especially after they had 1 out of 3 main flowers that were needed in the fridge. He offered me only 1. The photo of the upgraded bouquet I paid for had at least 5 of them. No thank you! Still waiting on my $87 refund. Decent looking flowers if you can actually get what you paid for. Customer service definitely lacking. If you don't have what we paid for, please be honest with your customers so they can look elsewhere. Especially while in mourning. A little sympathy goes a long way. So disappointing. Luckily, we found exactly what we were looking for with another local florist.
