There aren't many grocery store options in HR so I typically stick up in Portland before heading out this way, but if I need to grab items I forgot, this is where I shop. If you have a club card, you have to log in and select the Hood River location before downloading digital coupons otherwise the discounts won't be applied. this happened to me yesterday and the woman working at the self checkout explained this. Clearly a flaw of the Safeway app, not the HR locations fault, but still an issue that needs to be resolved.

I know this review won't help everyone but hopefully it'll help someone. I saw a few other people with celiac said it was safe and i'm glad they had a good experience. Located right off exit 65 on I-84 (highway 35), it's an easy stop for those living in Hood River, Mosier or White Salmon. Plus visitors who are out exploring trails, the fruit loop and vineyards.
