A little after 3 we received a call telling us they were running 3 hours late and asked if we still wanted it delivered. Told them yes, we need a mattress. At 9:30pm they show up, put the mattress on the bed upstairs and left. I looked at the mattress as they were leaving our driveway and I could see they delivered the wrong mattress, it looked like a queen sitting on king box springs. I called the store the next morning and Justin (sales rep) he apologized and said he would look into and call me back. About 2 hours later the delivery company called, not Justin, and said it would be delivered around 5pm. Later, received another call that it would be delivered between 7-9pm. I didn't want to do this again and felt that after the prior evening we should be a priority so I called Justin. Justin apologized and explained that sometimes called in sick, they had to use a delivery company, our mattress was on the delivery truck, etc... I told him that I wasn't happy and didn't want another late night delivery. He said that one of their customer relations people would be contacting us and try to make things right, maybe give us free sheets or something. An hour later we got a call from the delivery company and they were on their way. Still no call from anyone at Mattress World. All of the communication was prompted by me or the 3rd party delivery company.

He took me to the beds with the medium firmness and with the head/leg tilt as the base. I tried the firm one and then the medium one. The manager Gordon was sitting nearby at his desk, and let me know that the softer of the two beds would be better, since I am a side sleeper. Evan provided a quote for both king and queen size beds, plus gave me a couple discounts reducing the price. Two pillows, free delivery, free set up, and free take away for old bed were all included. After comparing prices at a couple other places, pricing on the bed I was looking for was comparable, but Even saved me an additional $1000 without trying to sell me something I did not want. When I went back to purchase the bed, Gordon was there to help. He took the time to explain that HSA/FSA dollars could be used to reimburse some of the cost of the bed, since the bed is needed for medical reasons. Otherwise, we would have not known about this option. We bought the bed and returned the next day to pick up the sheet set, since Gordon offered a discount for those on the phone. When we went in, he gave us even more of a discount, which was nice, so I purchased two sets. Gordon is very knowledgeable on sleep postures and the beds in his store. After much thought and time, they found me a Sealy Posturepedic they supported my body and still provided the perfect amount of comfort. I worked with both Joe and Emerald on different occasions. They both went above and beyond such as making sure I received proper spine alignment with the mattress and even discussed the health benefits of the power adjustable base I got. I had my bed for six months now and still love it! The mattress protector they sold kept my mattress pristine with no signs of stains, dirt, or dust mites.
