I figured that I'd get anything else on the list elsewhere (Staples/Walgreens) but I found *everything* I needed on this trip and didn't need to go elsewhere. Score! Try a different location that's more willing to help, or at least say how they know they don't have something if they're not offering to find out. (I used to work with workers who said this even if something was available, not wanting to help or check on it, then I would go and it would be there.) Every other store in proximity to this one did offer to actually check for the item, some with a hold and others were free enough to do so at the time.

He went back to the employee and told her and asked her for the key and she said he had to talk to the manager. He knocked on the door to talk to the manager and when she finally came to the door she asked him rudely what he wanted. He said our daughter needed to use the restroom and she was aggravated that she had to get off her personal phone conversation to unlock the door. Finally he got our daughter into the bathroom to find it was blocked by inventory. Customer service was so poor and you should never be rude to a customer. I know this is just dollar store but come on people be courteous. And if you don't have a useable restroom fine but let people know so they don't waste time. A 3 year old can only hold it so long.

My biggest complaint was that some sections of the store have very little selection and it looked liked the whole isle had been raided (such as makeup/beauty). Good seasonal selection.

I've been able to find all the viral social media cosmetic and personal care items here and enjoy shopping for spices. They carry a variety, when priced at $1.50 there is no comparison while spending over $5 elsewhere. The down side here is that the aisles are not faced regularly and very messy. It's hard to find items on some days. If there is something that you like, buy 10 of it. It may never return. Some of the staff are pleasant but not all. I get it. You get what you pay for.

Anyway, once we wrapped up, we waited in line, and eventually another register was opened. I'll come here for basic stuff, when I don't want to go to Big Lots or Walmart, but it's not a regular expedition for us. There are boxes and carts in the isles which makes it hard to get throughout the store. The new isles for items above $1 are nice and they have tried to keep them organized. Items don't always have tops, lids, etc. The holiday and season area is always a mess and picked over. The staff is not always friendly. The only reason I have 2 stars instead of 1 is because some guy that was unpacking freight came to give me a box of something I was looking for that a woman didn't even mind to look for, just pointed me in a direction and said it should be there. On another item that they were "out of" and "had been out for a long time" I found after digging through some random things that didn't belong. All in all I know it's dollar tree and I shouldn't have high expectations to begin with but the store was literally just trashed. It looked as if someone had a hoarder yard sale going on in there.
