Hire more check out staff please!!! Super irritating, and surprising that this is even an issue in such a nice store. Also word to the wise, after a certain time at night...quite early - about 8:00 PM, there are NO cashiers at all, and the only option is self-checkout. Ridiculous. read more

I was looking for some brown rice and I couldn't find it anywhere. I was greeted by a nice boy named Felix who worked at the store and he helped me find the rice! After I went to the self checkout lane Felix scanned his attendant card on the checkout register and got me my rice for free! I'm forever thankful for Felix and he has even offered me free groceries each time I go to this establishment! 5 Stars! read more

This store consistently has 1, maybe 2 live cashiers at any given time. On Friday, 21 October at 5 in the afternoon there was 1 cashier and one questionable other employee hanging around the self check out. Plenty of attitude, minimal customer service skills. Food Lion is just about 1/2 mile away and while they may not have the selection, they do have several cashiers on duty at any given time. read more

This is the newest, biggest, and probably the nicest grocery store in the area. The location is a bit inconvenient unless your travels bring you by the Moore airport. Has an online shopping option called "fast lane" or something like. You still have to pick them up, but the store will get them ready for you given some notice. Large produce section. Best beer and wine selection of any grocery store. Prices are a bit lower than Fresh Market (not much), a bit higher than Loew's (not much), and much higher than Food Lion. I'm not a fan of the deli set-up, other than that, it's a good place to shop. read more

I know and like Harris Teeters and we visited this one as we traveled to the Whispering Pines area for a week's stay. A brand of toilet paper was on sale. Of course, sold out. My wife went to the manager who offered a different size at the same price. Sold out. Jenny, the manager, didn't just offer the lame rain check. She offered us another (higher priced) brand at the sale price. She went above and beyond to please us. We went back for light fare three more times that week because of that service. This is probably the WORST run HT I've ever been to. EVERY time we go, we spend more time standing in line waiting to pay for our food than actually shopping. There are more 'managers' literally walking back and forth past the registers or just standing around, than there are cashiers. To top it off, 2 of the last 3 times we've been, some of our groceries never even made it back to our cart after they were scanned. Word to the wise, make sure you bag your own things. At $2.99 a piece, it hurts when you don't actually get the avocados you PAID for. read more

Can I tell you guys if you need flowers for any occasion, definitely go here. We told the florist exactly what we wanted and she delivered. She went above and beyond and added a certain flower to our arrangement that looked AMAZING and didn't charge us extra. They are very accommodating and helpful. You also won't pay too much like you would at a florist. read more

Best produce out of all the area supermarkets!! After bo's closed, I was totally lost as to where to get food. Luckily this store was there. It's technically farther from me than, say, the Lowe's or food lion, but the service, prices, variety, and produce selection are so great I go out of my way to go there anyways. Broccoli is my favorite food & I love that I can buy it without the main stalk so I get more crown for my dollars. It's very well organized and clean. The staff are very helpful & I always find the folk in produce have a great friendly vibe about them. The staff at the registers are super helpful & kind & quick. I can't physically move around the big carts very well so it's great they have shorter carts- a good step between a big one and a motorized one, for me. I am glad they are here. Best grocery store in the area. Harris teeter corporate should be proud they've got a store that's executing their values so well. read more

We love this store and shop there frequently. While in there this am, the glass covers at the meat counter were being cleaned with meat already on display. There are separations between the glass windows and the cleaning fluid was being sprayed directly on the glass with meat directly behind them. This seems to be a very bad practice. Clean the covers when there is no meat displayed, or spray the cleaning solution on the cleaning cloth before applying it to the glass. read more

Great staff and a pleasant shopping experience. We shop at this location more than once per week and love the many selections. Its easy in and out and perfectly situated near the airport in Whispering Pines. We use alot of coupons to save money as prices are a bit on the high end in most cases. Beer specials are really great and you can catch some good deals on meat as well. Produce generally looks real nice and the staff is terrific all the time. read more

This place is amazing. I've been to plenty of Harris Teeters. This is by far the best. The only negative thing about this store is the butcher. When I started going there about a year ago, they were so knowledgeable. Now, they aren't as helpful. The older woman in the deli is awesome! Anything I need, she makes it happen. Love her! read more
