If you look at other online reviews, it's clear I'm not the only miserable shopper; there are tons of other incredibly frustrated customers dealing with issues at this store, even if they are complaining about different things. We aren't in a pandemic anymore, so there's no major supply chain crisis. Modern stores use computerized POS systems that track customer habits and automatically trigger reorders. Whether the staff just doesn't know how to use the inventory system or the distribution center is treating this store unfairly, they just cannot keep things properly stocked. Frustrated, I drove over to the Albertsons in Redlands (same parent company!). They had plenty of heavy whipping cream and the $7.99/lb ribeye ready to go. I also stopped by Stater Bros., which had an incredible, robust selection of the sale ribeye and the rest of my groceries.
